Artemis Pansiyon

I used the other review posted on this website of the Artemis Pansiyon when making my choice. I chose wisely! While the room was basic, it did have cable TV, air conditioning and a great view of the ocean. We paid $35 (US) and had our own bathroom. Although our guidebook warned that it would be loud due to the proximity to the bars, the hotel had in fact soundproofed the windows. We slept soundly. The location is great - right in the middle of everything and directly across the sidewalk from the beach (rocky and small, but adequate for a few hours of sun). The staff was really nice and helpful. Every morning we ate a delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers on a budget who aren't looking for frills.

I have stayed at Artemis for many years and enjoyed the hosp?tal?ty and locat?on. Th?s hotel ?s very central by the beach and has great v?ews of the castle and the sea. Roof terrac ?s just fantast?c. My recent stay was ?n January 2006. H?ghly rececomend to everyone to v?s?t Bodrum outs?de h?gh season. I am told that Artem?s ?s shut for 6 weeks from 1 February 2006. They are completely redocorat?ng the bathrooms. Cant wa?t to go back...... See you soon Artem?s and your fr?endly staff.

My stay here was towards the end of the tourist season and the standard of service and hospitality was still there - as mentioned in these other reviews. We found it a great, comfortable place to stay and good value for money, which was quite a change from the high prices everywhere else in Bodrum.
