Lovely, new hotel--not much English Mediterra Art Hotel is a very nice, newly put together place in the charming area called Coleici. The room was lovely. Make sure you know how to get here: it requires going through a gate into a very cool but sort of hidden area of the old city We had a very hard time getting adequate directions, even from cabdrivers--or the hotel front desk, which is very helpful but doesn’t really know any English. They kept directing us to the nearby area, but not Coleici. That’s the magic word you must know... The rooms are really lovely, with character, and the pool is refreshing. The breakfast is not at good as most in Turkey, but the setting makes up for it. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay There is a great tram that runs past the entance area of Caleici, and you can ride to the Museum or the beach (steep walk down, but worth it, to the beach). The museum is closed on Monday, which the staff didn’t know.

Flooding shower and AC was broken. Water was dripping from the AC in our room and they didn’t fix it. All they did was putting a towel under where it drips. They didn’t replace the towel so after a few days the towel was soaking wet and the floor was wet. The shower was flooding after a minute being a the shower.

+Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent food. The staff prepared some extra vegetarian dishes. Very good atmosphere. The road in front of the hotel is now paved with new stones, which looks nice. -A bit noisy in the room, but this is maybe unavoidable in a crowded old city center.

Couldn't have hoped for better! The hotel is a beautiful conversion/restoration of old building in the heart of the narrow winding steets of the old town of Antalya known as Kaleici. The attention to detail that has gone into restoring the building carries through into the decor of the rooms and the genuine warmth of every member of staff. We felt at home from the first moment we arrived and were happy to return after our adventures every day. If this hotel was portable we would take it on every holiday, wherever we were going. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Small but perfectly formed. Turn left out of the hotel entrance and you'll quickly come to a bar called Vanilla. Very modern, beatifully put together. Worth a look. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars dotted about in the streets surrounding. The Kaleici is a small area and we got most pleasure out of wandering around and discovering things.Otherwise, you can't go too far wrong with the bars and restaurants around the harbour and the cliff overlooking.
