DDP Hotel is excellent. If you have "all in" ticket, it's really all included (except some expensive drinks). The hotel has everything you need, no need to go out (everytime we went out, we regreted). The trips offered by your travelling agent (with money) are doubtfull, I don't reccomend them. We used Penninsula Tour and they disapointed us deeply.

Perfect beach weather and friendly people everywhere This hotel was a good fit for our family travel needs. All inclusive buffet, great pools, beautiful beach and very clean hotel. The pools were cold in October - beach water was warmer. But the kids had a great time in the pool with the slides. There were lots of English speakers mostly from the UK. We were likely the only family from the US. No problem communicating but the kids did not feel comfortable in the kids club given the language gap. German and Russian were widely spoken too. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is extremely clean and well cared for. Skip the spa. Beach, pools and cabanas were fun. Delicious watermelon served all day. Also the Belgian Waffles in the afternoon were a hit. You should use the main dining hall for meals and skip the specialty restaurants because their menus are very limited. We had a family room which was two bedrooms and two bathrooms - a perfect fit for our needs. Friday night Gala was fun and festive. Overall a very positive stay Ask for a family suite. If you are going for a sun vacation, wake up early and scout out a cabana near the pool in the morning. Be prepared for lots of smoke and some noise at night in the main lobby.

Jan,2008. 10-day of Leisure Well, I like the appearnce of the hotel. As for the rest, they really have to improve their service. German people are everywhere there. I think you even do not have to go to Germany after staying in Palace for 10 days.
