Alem Regency Apart & Hotel

The staff at the Alem Regency is pleasant and helpful. You can have breakfast either in the restaurant or outside by the pool. We had some cleanliness issues with our room, the refrigerator had a strange smell so we weren't able to use it and the blankets did not seem to be that clean. The location of the hotel is good, with the beach and bus stops right across the street.

My fiance and I stayed at the Alem Egency for 6 nights. The hotel was better than what the photos displayed and is currently expanding/remodling in the rear of the facility, we didn't hear any of it though. The staff were very nice, helpful and attentive. We had an apartment room with one large bed, these rooms had no carpet only tile floors but we made do with it. We were on the top floor with a balcony and outside the entry to the room was a very nice atrium with plants and much sunlight. Reception was always quickly available and suggested many excursions which were beautiul and quiet enjoyable. The hotel had taxis assigned to it and they were always available or a quick buzz away. Our taxi driver "Adam" was very nice, helpful and drove slowly or should I say with sanity. The food was very good and a nice variety every morning and evening. The hotel atmosphere was clean and quiet and if any children were extra loud the staff took care of it quickly. The pool was very nice and we also liked their large chess game outside. Access to the beach was great. only across the street and quiet and peacful with what only appeared to be local people swimming or enjoying the day, the beach was big and very long. Prices were very good more than equitable for what food and service we received. We will more than likely stay here again and recommend it to all couples. My search on the Internet for the best at a great price paid off! Success, Mark & Elena
