Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa

Great value hotel,excellently located on a good section of chaweng beach right in the heart of the action. Best shopping, bars and restaurants all within easy walk. Good range of room styles at very good rates in comparison to similar standard hotels on the chaweng strip. Rooms are quite large in size with excellent porch or balcony area attached. Room ammenities are basic but clean and are better than what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Buffet breakfast is excellent! Small but adequate pool (also suitable for children)with nice reasonably priced restaurant and spa facilities. I have visited Samui on a number of occassions now and stayed in many different hotels but the Baan Chaweng is definately the best value hotel on chaweng beach. My girlfriend and I have stayed in this hotel twice now and would not stay anywhere else. Service is friendly, helpful and staff are very knowledgable on local activities and sightseeing. Everything you need is here!!

Great location if you want to be amongst the crowd in busy Chaweng beach. Fantastic service.

Very basic but had everything you needed plus was able to sit on the day beds by the pool which were also on the edge of the beach.

Very helpful staff. They tried their best to offer us early check-in at 9 in the morning with free breakfast. Nice environment, close to the sea, with 2 beautiful swimming pools. Breakfast is OK, location is a little bit far from the centre of Chaweng but still in walking distance.

I reviewed many resorts before deciding on the Bann Chaweng, Im glad I did. The Baan Chaweng was everthing and more. Situated right in the middle and on chaweng beach(most active beach). hidden between beach and main strip, minutes walk from any bars and restaurants. Our superior room was quiet and secluded. Ask for upstairs(private balcony).Rooms were large and excellent value. cleaned daily with staff freindly and helpfull. recommend resort

The hotel was excellent value and in one of the best locations on Chaweng beach. The gardens and villas were nicely positioned and the pool was great. We ate at the restaurant and could not fault the food. The bathroom was a little gloomy and the water pressure could have been better, but this was a fairly minor issue. Highly recommended and we would stay there again.

There was nothing I could fault especially being my first time in Thailand. I will definitely Visit Baan Chewang Beach resort again. We were so central ,yet it was absolutely peaceful. We had the best of both worlds. Great for families as well as couples. The staff are so pleasant and helpful it was a holiday I enjoyed.
