Pleasant place The location is bad. However, for the price it is an excellent hotel. By bad location, I do not mean that you are not near sites. I mean that the neighborhood looks bad--not pleasant to walk in for families and first time visitors to Bangkok. About service, I was annnoyed that the room wasn’t ready on my arrival but the maids and other staff were friendly and competent. Traveler's tip on shopping The metro overhead line is about 10 to 15 minute walk. On the way, there is a large Tesco Dept. Store where one can get great restaurant prices, odds-and-ends, and a wonderful massage at a resonable price--all in one building. It was nice to come back from the skyrail and stop for the massage--after a hard touring day.

Good location for shopping. Very close to Expressway connecting to Airport. Disappointing to have unfriendly staff.

I 've been staying in Twin Tower Hotel for several times before. I like the rooms are big enough, restaurant and foods are good too... nice service for everyone. I Hope that the hotel can provide some specail rate for whose who used to stay there often or maybe some promotion like pay 2 nights and stay for 3 night.. just because the location is not that good.

In Bkk a good place too stay, but poor neighbourhood. We had better places to stay in BKK. Our request to take a shower after checking out (before flying home) was denied!

Acceptable medium Bangkok Hotel 1.5 to 2 star hotel. I stayed in a huge, sparsely furnished room that met the minimum standards of clean. The hotel is not in a central location but subway and skytrain stops are within 5 minutes taxi ride. There are no stores or restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Most taxi drivers know the hotel name and location. The staff is helpful and speaks proper english. I did not have chance to see the pool or other hotel features. A budget hotel with no glaring faults, good in a pinch or if not a picky traveler.

My friend and I stayed at one of the worst hotels in the world. It was really terrible. It does look like a big hotel, so we thought it would be okay. Yet, the room was not clean. The bed was not cleaned properly. The lighting was horrible. The paint on the wall needed a dire makeover. The carper wasn't too clean either and the whole decor of the room was not good. The bathtub looked like it has been there since the hotel first opened up. It was very old and not clean-looking. Part of the exterior of the bathtub had peeled off. The amenities were so poor. No slippers, no bathrobes, and no toothpaste and toothbrush provided. Everything had to be paid for according to the front desk. It was a cheap experience. I probably would have gotten a better deal the Super 8 motel. No one should ever stay or recommend this hotel. Also, the food at the hotel was not good at all. My friend didn't really like the meal. Thailand has a lot of good food, but not at this hotel. I even got sick after eating their room service food. Also, the presentation of the room service was terrible. They don't even provide you with napkins. The hotel is also far from everything and everywhere. There is nothing at this hotel at all, but just the expressway. Also, the staff weren't friendly. We stayed at the Hilton Phiuket Arcadia and the Montien Hotel Bangkok on other days during our trip and the experience was so much better. No matter the hotel, the staff should be friendly and they should at least provide you with slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrush. It wasn't an expensive hotel, but they shouldn't treat you terribly when it comes to amenities, cleanliness, etc. These are the basics. Then, it should be better advertised what is really offered. It truly is a bad hotel.
