The staff is friendly and the hotel is located in a nice area, close to metro. But please avoid John Prasitsak (the tour guide at the front desk) he will try to sell you fake tours. he said we didn't have to pay entrance fee, and we ended up paying everywhere we went.

A very enjoyable stay - some of the best service from a front desk team I've had in a while. Room was huge - and a considerable improvement on my stay there about 6 years ago - carpet still pretty scruffy though. The hotel is what it is - a mid range hotel catering to the holiday market in a location suited to every taste. Broadband internet on the 7th floor was free and fast. I would definately stay there again. For the price, it is a brilliant option - about 50% less than other similar hotels in the area that I use.

The hotel is conveniently located to the metro station. The staff is nice and friendly (although avoid John Prassitsak the tour guide at the lobby trying to sell you fake tours!!! Said the entrance fee is included to the snake farm and the floating market, and we had to PAY!) breakfast was ok. The carpets are not the cleanest. As I said it is a three star hotel so we did not expect much.

The standard rooms are really poor. I chosed a standard-room and made an upgrade there. I paid 1.200,-- Baht per night for the upgrade. So be so smart and book the deluxe room. The standard room is dirty, old carpet, old bathroom, old furniture. The size is ok. The deluxe rooms are really good. Bathroom is a little bit to small for the roomsize and the sink was to small. Breakfast is ok, location also. Opposite the Sofitel Silom and the Narai Hotel. But... to be honest: for the price i paid it was to expensive. I will chose other hotels next time. There are much more choices around for the same or less money.

The hotel is conveniently located, 10 minute walk to BTS, 15 to Soi 4, Great variety of self serve breakfasts. Clean pool on the roof, with great pool bar staff, who apologize for the high price drinks. Front desk staff smiles, but don't expect service, they have there own way of doing things. Rooms are huge, and generally clean. However the hotel is very worn out. Beds sag, sheets may have holes, stains everywhere, all are smoking rooms, wake up calls don't happen. Upgrading is being done, superficially, the lobby first, rooms will be last. Not a bad place to stay, keeping in mind it's a third world country.

This hotel is Uninhabitable! We should have had some clue the first night when we were walking down the corridor to our room. The carpeting was completely filthy, there was no light, and it felt like we were in the BATES HOTEL, only dirtier. When we got to our room, I could immediately smell that it was a smoking room and the ashtrays and matches proved that. (So much for requesting a non-smoking at the front desk.) Not only that, every conceivable inch of furniture and carpeting was covered in some sort of STAIN or other. When we saw the condoms for sale on top of the refrigerator, we could only imagine what these stains were! After commenting to the busboy that we could not stay in a smoking room, his first reaction was to take the ashtrays from the desks and hide them in the drawers! We insisted he call the front desk, and when he did, the front desk was completely unapologetic and said there were no more rooms. When we called and insisted again, miraculously, they had found another room. The busboy then accompanied us to another room. What can I say about the 2nd room? It still smelled of smoke, but it seemed mildly cleaner and the hour was late, so we consented. Because of our itinerary we had the grave misfortune of a 2nd perfomance at the Unico and our return to it was equally disagreeable. Not only did what was now our 3rd room have the requisite stains, it also had BUGS!!! Trying to explain to the hotel staff that we could not sleep in a room with BUGS was like trying to heal the blind. And unfortunately, our tour operator, for whatever reason, could not upgrade us to a better hotel, though we were willing to pay for the upgrade. If only we had had the money to pay for a new hotel altogether. So, we were given another room, equally dirty and yet again, smelling of smoke. But at least we didn´t have to share it with BUGS.

we had only half day (1 night) in Bangkok thus we chose this hotel as it was cheap and close to Patpong night market where we did our last minute shopping before leaving Thailand. the hotel was very standard, only sutiable for budget travellers. our room had a door where we could open and access to the next room, very scary when ou can hear everything from next room. theres no way we'd stay here again.

I have been returning to this hotel for over 10 years (previously known as Tower Inn). The location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping and nightlife. I would suggest to upgrade to the deluxe executive rooms. All rooms are are very large although the bathrooms are on the smaller size but are adequate. The rooftop pool is ideal and never too overcrowed. Buffet breakfast is more than ample, serving both asian and western food. This is an ideal middle class hotel.

This hotel is in an excellent location, close to night market, Patong, restaurants and internet cafes. I was upgraded to a junior sweet and it was huge for the same price as a standard room. There is good italian food close by at Silom centre just a few blocks away. The service was friendly and efficient. The king size bed was comfortable and the air conditioners in both the living room and bedroom worked fine a bit noisy though. I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors.
