Excellent hotel with easy access to all the sites. Don't dine in the hotel's restaurants as their mediocre, outrageous prices and as everyone obviously thinks the same devoid of people and therefore any atmoshpere.

The Landmark used to be my favorite place to stay in BKK, when I came a few years ago. They need to spend some money on the place. It is not filthy, but past its prime. My last stay was ruined by a urine scented mattress.

Great hotel with good facilities and staff I stayed one night here but enjoyed the hotel and its location. Right on the sky train line with close proximity to shopping and entertainment. Traveler's tip on local attractions Skytrain is good value and easy to use, especially during peak hour. Dont be afraid to use it.

Good city location adjacent to Sky Train station for quick access to Siam Square shopping. Plenty of cheap eats in the vicinity

Great Service and Amenities; Convenient Location Bargain politely/nicely with street vendors and maybe even in certain more fixed retail establishments. Also, don't miss boat tours and taxis on the Chao Praya (river) and the massive weekend market at Moh Chit. Finally, if you are American, be on guard for angry locals who have been denied visas by the U.S. Embassy (this last comment probably goes for any place outside the U.S. these days).

Great Service and Amenities; Convenient Location I stayed at the Landmark, a pretty swanky business hotel, for three nights. Just about every hotel staffer I dealt with, including the business center staff and staff in the ground floor Rendezvous lounge, was super helpful, considerate and gracious. Only one guy at the concierge desk seemed annoyed with me not knowing enough about Thai history, but he gave me helpful directions. Rendezvous, the 4th floor gym and the basement bar were great! The room was nice, with a great view and an awesome complimentary plate of exotic fruit on my 1st full day. The Landmark is convenient to the SkyTrain, and the surrounding neighborhood has tons of dining and shopping (among other things). Two thumbs up! Staff attitude & friendliness make a big, positive difference. Traveler's tip on shopping Bargain politely/nicely with street vendors and maybe even in certain more fixed retail establishments. Also, don’t miss boat tours and taxis on the Chao Praya (river) and the massive weekend market at Moh Chit.
