Sukhumvit Crown Hotel

The price was reasonable and the breakfast, which was included, was very good. Room and fixtures were old, service could have been better and the hotel and rooms were fairly clean.

It's an old hotel in a great position, clean, good breakfast, good value. Not good for anyone who wants to have a resort holiday or to impress friends.

+ 1) It can boast the best location due to the proximity to Sky train and other transportationmain road 2) The room price is a good value for budget travellers - The rooms are quite old and shabby and certainly need renovation.

For me it was a nice experiance with the hotel, the old lady in the reception is very good. The location is perfect, a little bit far but in a quiet place. Any way I prefer to stay here again.

We chose this hotel because of the price. Please take our advice and don't stay at this hotel. The breakfast was the only silver lining in the dark cloud of our experience. I would say for the 38 dollars we spent, I would expect 10 dollars would have been more appropriate, it felt like a run down guest house, very seedy. There was only one remote for ac which served every room on the entire floor, shared by all. They were nice enough to let us borrow this for the evening, after some assertiveness on our part. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The room we stayed in was NOT meant for families staying on vacation, but for other purposes. If price is a concern for you, please save yourself the disappointment and pay 12 more dollars to stay in a place worthy of being called a hotel, or stay in a guest house instead, and save yourself wondering why you paid so much.

+ Location is very good for moving in Bangkok (near skytrain). Wireless internet was good but too slowly for my work in finland. - I think need to have more western breakfast.

Great location in the heart of Sukhomvit. Minutes walk from Skytrain. Facilities average. AC not strong. TV is tiny with few channels. No shower fixture, just handheld sprayer. For about $30, its a pretty good deal. There are better options for a few dollars more.
