A very pleasant place to stay in. Clean and very affordable. Location is not near to big shopping centers or places of interest, but taxis are readily available in Bangkok, so no problems for me.

Very convenient for underground station, 5 minute walk from hotel, enabling one to travel fast and in clean, airconditioned pleasure, and changing, if necessary, to the Skytrain, an equally fast and cheap way to traverse this huge city. Hotel breakfast very good, with wide choices and smiling service. Would recommend the hotel to all.

Most of my stay have been good. Unfortunately request for an extra pillow was not entertained. For regulars the breakfast spread is boring, I hope they can and will change the items served daily. They have many bell boys now!

I always stay at this hotel when I go to performances at the Thailand Cultural Center which is only a short walk away. The rooms are very good and well soundproofed so there's no noise from the main road outside. Breakfasts are excellent but finish at 9.30, which may be a little early for some. The price through Asia Rooms is unbeatable.

This hotel was very good value for money, it was ideal for getting around, minutes from the underground, which made getting around easier, using both the underground, with connections to the sky train; also being cheap as chips. This is the fourth time I have been to Thailand, previous stays I have always booked hotels nearer to where we wanted to be, thinking it made more sense, however bargaining with taxi drivers and tuk tuk drivers, and getting them directly to where you want to be without visiting a tailors or jewelly shop 'on the way' for 20baht, loses its appealand gets a bit tiresome, and I much preferred using public transport. There was a taxi driver attached to the hotel and the receptionist arranged for him to take us to the government jewellery shop at no charge although we did give him a 200 baht tip (£3.30), which was well worth it because it was a fair journey and he waited to take us back. The staff were all lovely. The food was ok, typical thai breakfasts.

been staying in this hotel for abt 2yrs whenever i travel bangkok under the old hotel name siam beverly hotel.Back then it was simply well-worth and cheap. however now that they have partially refurnished their hotel and renamed it as bangkok cha-da, the price now seemed very competitive with the other better hotels nearby. do check the prices around.
