A gem of a little hotel This place made my stay in Bangkok a memorable one. Terrific, attentive, friendly and courteous staff. All the amenities you would find in more expensive hotels, but at a much better price. A great breakfast buffet that is included in your rate. The location is in Chinatown, a vibrant neighborhood that’s has lots of charm, culture, and endless food choices. Plus there’s a nice supermarket on the ground floor, so you can get all your basic necessities easily. Public transit (subway and boat) is within walking distance so access to the rest of the city is not a problem. Taxis and tuk tuks are also just right outside your doorstep. Overall, highly recommended. I would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed this hotel. We loved the resort, and the snorkling. The people were so friendly. The security was like none other. It was men walking around with bows and arrows. Sometimes they would suprise you. The food was good, the scenery beautiful, the people wonderful. Highly suggested

The Jais Aben Resort is a great place, where little kids can play in the sea,and on the beach, which is close to the open restaurant and bar, so parents can watch their children play. The little lodges, look very small from the outside, but as a family of six you fit in it easily. in the back of the lodge, a screendoor permits your way outside. There you can enjoy the beautiful sun, hear the waves lapping against the shore and let the salty wind play with your hair. Next to Jais Aben Resort is a centre for scubadiving, with staff that is willing to help anyone. They'll help you with everything, and greet you with a smile. If you want to relax, the house bids enough quietness, and if you'd rather prefer to stay closer to the restaurant and the sea, there are lodges there, too. All I have to say about Jais Aben Resort is that it is a beautiful place to swim, make friends and enjoy your holliday!

Nicely decorated rooms and comfortable made up for the fact that you could not see out the windows. Staff seem somewhat disinterested in you not unusual for a big city but most unlike any other place in Thailand.

Jais Aben Resort in Madang was an awesome place to stay. Our room was but 20 feet from the ocean, and the coral reef started where the land stopped, spectacular reef. This reef is so beautiful we spent a whole day snorkeling, just taking in the beauty of the reef. Scooba diving is also available, and there is a wreck pretty close to the resort that you can visit, you can also book a canoe and paddle out to one of the nearby islands to visit with the natives. If your not the extremely adventerous sort there is a pool and a resteraunt available. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the service was excelent.
