First the bad: the location wasn't great (nowhere near the tourist areas and 6 blocks from the nearest BTS station), the street it was on was a little sketchy and the hotel itself was a bit modest. However, the rooms were big enough, the beds were comfortable, the staff was pretty friendly and the food both in the lobby and on the second floor was delicious. All in all, for 28 dollars per night, this place was pretty fantastic.

Very good hotel.Though the location doesn't look great at first, you're only 200 meters from the main street and they have a free tuk-tuk service to go there. It's not very far from Chatuchak market:we actually walked there (and walked back). The swimming pool is small but when we were there, there were just the 2 of us.As we needed a taxi to the airport quite early in the morning, the reception called a meter taxi that was there in no time.As far as food is concerned, there's a restaurant in the back street with an all you can eat fondue barbecue buffet for 129 baht per person. On top of that, the room rates are rather cheap.

Very happy.Great staff, good quite location . Recommngend to anyone on a budget . However,if you are expecting a proper GYM you will be disappointed. It's worth every cent in my opinion and will definitely use it again ..

Was OK for the money. A good 10 min walk to the BTS Skytrain. Poor part of the city - certainly not a "toursit or Business" hotel. I choose it for promixity to the Nth Bus terminal - still a 60 Bht Tuk Tuk ride.

I booked this hotel it is located near to chak tuk chak market (but you can reach there via BTS station if you're staying at the other side of city,so don't worry!)My story is, I didn't even stay at the hotel even though I have paid for it for 3 nights. The hotel is old, and has very dim, yellow, orangy light around the corridors. Our room was overlooking a few blocks of abandoned buildings and the bathroom has very dimmed light as well! WE asked the receptionist for change of room but she wasn't friendly! Hence,I went around that area that night to search for other hotels! In the end, I stayed at Tivoli Hotel and was very comfortable with it! Will not recommend this hotel at all.. Bad bad experience.

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the Sena Place Hotel. It is ideal for the short time traveller. Staff are very friendly - nothing is too much trouble. They even run down to the main road to fetch a taxi for me. One is not bothered all night by young ladies insisting that they are the "massage therapist" that you have ordered. Breakfast is quite good - eggs are HOT and toast is fresh. The hotel is a bit old, and run down, but then again, so am I. I always enjoy the Sena Place and will definately stay there again.

A place value for money but not really a place for tourist who was to have nice experience. Transport is a headache there as u neeed to walk far out to get a public transport. For me i have to get the the lady at the receip counter to inform her i need a taxi and waited ard 5 mins for it. The customer service experience isn't gd as the counter staff wasn't friendly at all. Other then that, everything is fine

I have been in this hotel at the beginning of my stay and have decided to go back in the same hotel before leaving back in France. Everything was fine especially the food which was the greatest regarding all the hotels I have been during the last 3 years. The staff was helpfull and smiling. Points to improve : 1) Increase the TV internationnal channels. 2) Repair the fitness machines which I was enable to make work. I do recommend this hotel even if I had to walk 15 minutes to walk back from the BTS station.

This hotel is a bit far from the BTS, the swiming pool small (mai pen rai), the television could have more international channels such TV5 Monde and other movies channels. However, the staff was VERY helpfull, the room was ok (even if a little bit small). Also the food was certainly the BEST one I have ever eaten in the last three years I have spent in Asia (#1). I DO RECOMMEND this hotel (but don't expect to find bars or night club next to it).
