Average this hotel is good, the breakfast is very nice, they have 4-5 sets of breakfast, you can choose any one you like, the room is not so lcean , they will not make up the room everyday unless you request it, they will charge 500B for deposite when you check in and will return the money when you leave, overall, I like this hotel , room charge is cheap and it is near the Kaosan Road and Grand Place

NO, this is not a 5 star hotel. This is exactly what you can expect to get for 10 € a night. But, it's at a great location, breakfast included and there's a bed to sleep in. If you know that you wont be spending much time at your hotel during your visit to bangkok then this is a good option."

I have stayed here in 2007 it was really poor, but I have returned in 2009 to see that the staff have become helpful and nice. its a good location. Good for Backpackers. Book online, as it works out cheaper!

The location is perfect. perfect both day and night life. good place to do your shopping.

Hotel is a loose term in relation to this place. Backpacker more like. Bathroon substandard and filthy, rooms the size of a shoe box. Staff spoke broken english. Breakfast hygene questionable at best. If you want a cheap, nasty noisy place with poor amme

I was transferred to Sawasdee Khao San Inn (13-14 Feb) due to the cancellation of my ealier booking by your agent in Bangkok.It was resolved but quite troublesome.The room is reasonable for the amount paid.

I got bitten by bed bugs, was scratching the whole night. This is really bad! Stay somewhere else!

The receptionist (Somchak)and most of the staff had been helpful and nice to us but the room is super small and the bed has bugs, looks like they didn't replace the sheets. Location is good and the service was good though.

i stayed with a friend in the hotel, i found the location was ok but the staff didnt really help us when we asked for advice. i would stay if you want to be near the middle of the action and are a budget traveller not expecting to much then stay here.
