Royal Parkview Hotel Bangkok

Not recommended. Can only be regarded as a very old 3-star hotel at most. The air-conditioning is poor in the room. Many small cockroaches are found in the toilet, dirty bathroom. No tooth brush, toothpaste nor slippers. No free local calls but minimum charge at 89 bahts for 3 minutes. Poor breakfast with few choices also. No free 15-min hand spa as claimed. At least 10-min walk to the nearest BTS. You can get a much better hotel paying same price.

Business location, good price.

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in in Bangkok. Staff were unfriendly and previoulsy the hotel was quite nice however new management have come in and it has gone downhill. Staff are shabbily dressed and don't respond to problems.

Just a standard hotel there. Not too bad, not too good.

The hotel is bad need of a major overhaul from the rooms to the common areas. My bathroom had a visible leaking hole in the ceiling, the room carpet was stained and starting to fray. On a (pre-arranged and paid for) return visit the room was slighlty b

The hotel needs a make over as carpets and rooms generally are dirty. Hotel towel is old. Basic necesssity like tissue paper and coffee making facility are not provided. The people are freindly and pricing is fair.

We have reserved nonsmoking rooms and after we checked-in, we had to change rooms, because of smoke inside. No towels in the bathroom and when we got them, they were not very clean and very old....

Good location and security around hotel. Staff were helpful and rooms were clean. Happy with the service and stay.

I enjoyed staying here, however i found the airconditioning too loud and cold,there wasnt much choice in english on the televsion, but the staff were very helpful, the room doors need to be rubbed down and the room we had stuck and made alot of noise trying to close, so at night i am others distrubed peoples sleep.
