Although the hotel staff were helpful (not friendly but just helpful), this was a terrible terrible hotel to stay at. Location was simply the worst street (soi) in Sukhumvit and hard to get to anywhere and the restaurants around here really bad and all automatically add 10% service charge (although not normal in Bangkok) even if the service is horrible, you have no say to this. I have staying at many other areas in BKK before, but have not seen the same. The hotel staff showed us 3 rooms before we gave up and accepted the last room which had wall papers falling off the walls, ceiling was dirty, carpet had 100s of awful stains, bed was particually bad even for Thailand standards, and don't ask about the pillow cases and the disgusting stains on them. The bathroom was much worse than the pillow cases and the room. Rooms are generally very dark and depressing. The whole hotel is very dirty, depressing and feels horrible. The Breakfast was however good enough after a night of depression, sleeping in this simply disgusting hotel. I really do not recommend this hotel to anyone as it was simply horrible and depressing hotel. Although we paid for the room through Asiarooms for our entire stay and could not get a refund, we decided to forget the money and moved after 2 nights to a wonderful hotel on Soi 24 for almost the same price and had a wonderful 4 days in a superb hotel, excellent service and food, wonderful location with many nice supermarkets with fresh fruits and groceries, great restaurants, walking sidewalk, nice hotel amenities, incredibly pleasent and helpful staff and this really made our vacation otherwise we would have returned home with bad memories about our misreable accommodation.

Decent enough hotel for the price. The room was rather spacious. Main complain was that the room was definitely in need of upgrading - particularly the spring mattress (all springs transmitted their presence quite clearly through the padding!). The hotel is near the Asok BTS station, although a fair walk away (I am guessing about 10 minutes). Some other reviewers seemed to have issues with the food within this hotel, but Bangkok is definitely short of food choices. In fact, there is a Thai/ Western restaurant just next door which serves excellent food - and I did not see the need to dine-in as a result (hence, can't really comment about the food at this hotel). Overall, decent enough for the money.

I had a total of 10 room-nights at this hotel. When I checked in at 10 pm, three lights (two in the room, one in the bathroom) were blown. The room was dark and it really felt awful to be in a partially-lit hotel room!! I called reception to get someone to fix it, but no one came. The next morning, when I deposited my key at reception, I asked again to get someone to fix the lights. But when I came back to my room at night, it was still not fixed! Finally, after the THIRD phone call, someone came to fix the lights. It took THREE phone calls and more than 24 hours to fix a simple problem! All this wihle I had to put up with a dimly-lit room! This hotel does NOT do daily room service. When I called house keeping, the guy gave me a very irritated "yes yes yes, you no need to worry about that, we will clean the room!" But the room was NOT cleaned! I will NEVER stay here again, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here.

Breakfast was really bad and I tried it once and was so disappointed that I didn't go the other mornings. During my stay the hotel was full of guest from India, which is normally not a problem, I just hat that feeling they care about them and nobody else!!!!! I also was a bit surprised that the stuff tried to hug me up with there massage service in the night which was not only just massage as guest told me. Doesn’t speak for a good hotel to provide such a service. I must say the hotel is ok but nothing special I would of the reason I told you not recommend the hotel and not booking in again. "

The Parkview is in need of remodeling, it feels tired Rooms while adequate show a lot of wear. The tv keep needing hotel adjustment, I stayed here several years ago and it was a bargain then but now with the exchange rate no longer such a deal

    1) No customer valuation 2) Internal policies of hotel of which customers are not aware. 3) Basic amenities in bathroom not available.

This hotel must have been a 4 star when new. It is now a little shabby, but is very good value for money. The views are wonderful from the upper floors. Staff are friendly and helpful.
