i booked a standard triple and got upgraded to a two bedroom suite. great! the best thing about the hotel is the location. It's not in the busy wholesale market area but close enough to walk over to pratunam and the malls. We basically walked all the time and the hotel was not too far away from everything. In a quite relaxed soi ( soi 20 as I found out from one taxi driver) and safe enough for three girls travelling. Hotel staff speaks adequate understandable english and helpful in giving directions to places of interest. The buffet breakfast was not outstanding but was good enough. Will be back in Bangkok soon and will most probably stay if the rates don't jack up. Good value for the money and location!

I stayed 1 night at 3rd floor, the overall was ok except outside the room was smell due to renovation. Breakfast was not plentiful but good taste. For location, the hotel is behind the Siam Paragon-Large shopping mall, just walk 50m. to take free golf car to Siam Paragon, BTS, or Siam Square.

The standard rooms relatively needs to be renovated or upgraded as compared to the deluxe room which is so much better in terms of comfort and cleaniness.

Stayed a total of 15 nights. First night was in a terrible room on the 2nd floor. Absolutely horrible. Looked like the room in that horror movie 1408. But then on the 2nd night we changed to the 3rd floor and the room was considerably better (normal). Still somewhat old but a big improvement from the 1st room (though I stress... still quite old). No smell though. Room is kept clean by housekeeping everyday regardless of time I left room (they once cleaned it at after I left around 5pm). No kettle or coffee/tea facilities, no face towels (explains my low score on facilities). Service was excellent. Happy to provide me with extra pillows got us metered taxis. Always with a smile. Will return again (if I do not stay on the 2nd floor).

This hotel is definitely one of the most value for money hotels you ever find in Bangkok and perhaps even in the world. Its location is prime - it is about 5 minutes from Siam Paragon and only about 15 mins to MBK. It also has a 7-eleven convenience store located some 2 mins away so no worries about getting drinking water and necessities. The hotel room is not fantastically furnished - it is simple - but yet very cosy and comfortable. The only little flaw I would mention is the bathroom - the shower curtain is a little too short to prevent water from splashing out and innundating the bathroom floor at times. But other that this minor flaw, the room is okay. This is perhaps one of the mostt value-for-money hotels you can ever find in the Bangkok city centre. To top it off, there is a buffet breakfast every morning.

Booked the standard room via internet. Pictures and real life BIG difference! Room was really horrible, everything looks Old and Used. Real turned off. Upgraded to the newly renovated room straight away, way much better. Everything is new and comfortable, definitely the rooms to stay. Worth the money. Location wise, i guess its an in between. Its situated abt a 10min walk to the nearest BTS. Good for u to go to the wkend market and MBK etc. Quite close to the IT mall and Pratunam. Overall, better to stay in the hotels in Pratunam. Much easier for you to go back to ur hotel to put ur stuff.

Room was very old. Did not meet my expectations of how the room will be like. Also, there was renovation going on and construction workers moving around freely - did not feel safe.

Comfortable stay and the service from receptionist and staff are very good! Also note that the hotel's room service or restaurant is relatively affordable too!

The hotel location is excellent for those who like shopping. Platinum mall (sells cheap products of all kind, bargaining required though) is around 500m walk, there's a computer mall which I cannot remember the name, its around 300m walk, or Siam Paragon Mall which is a golf kart ride away. Skytrain is around 400m walk. Besides the above, not much else to shout about. The rooms are old and cracking. The facilities are non-existent. The traffic is extremely bad at all times (so no taxi). However, I would return to stay if shopping is all I intend to do. If I return to rest and just take it easy, will stay somewhere further.

for a budget hotel, it is perfect: location, room rate, tranquility all around. sitting in the patio, it didnt feel like a hotel, it was like your own backyard back home. the staff were never snooty nor condescending. i commend our driver peng for being diligent and patient; the concierge (i forgot his name) for being helpful, the garden attendants for keeping the patio clean; and almost everyone who were friendly. ive already recommended this hotel to my friends who love to shop for cheap clothes and for the latest gadgets. and siam center and siam paragon are just a golfcart ride away!! just a quibble: breakfast could be better.
