    the hotel is excellent. the location too because it is very close to the mass transit system and lumpini park. We wanted something special for our honeymoon, but you can find better rates for just a slightly lower quality.

    My trip Nice hotel and close to shopping areas , i recommend this hotel, rooms ae nice and comfortable and nice service.

    Very helpful staff, eg confirming flight bookings, finding out train timetables. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice pool, particularly for a city centre hotel. Can't be faulted in any way. We were upgraded as the hotel was fully-booked. whilst this was a very nice surprise, my ratings would have been the same in the original booking.

    It was my second time to stay in Plaza Athenee, but the first time since it joined Royal Meridien Group. Compared with last time, level of serivce and facilities surely increased. I spent quite pleasant three nights there. It is in a walking distance to the nearby Sky Train station, but the condition of the walkway is very bad. Catching a cab is also a bit hard. There are always a few cabbies waiting at the hotel gate. Needless to say, they are notorious rip-offs.

    This hotel is as good as any that I have stayed at in Bangkok. Service and attention very good Beds very comfortable , breakfast first class

    I was very pleased with the ambience of the hotel in general, the quality of the food particularly the Thai food and the courtesy extended by staff during our stay. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by our names, although I am mystified as to how we were recognised when we arrived in a taximeter. As an architect, I particularly admired the attention to detail in the design, quality of the materials and finishes of the rooms, particularly the bathroom. Everything was in the right place and of a standard that one might expect in such a hotel. We were particularly pleased with the room rates we obtained on the internet.

    the hotel was fine generally. disappointingly there was no hair dryer in the room, despite there being an iron and ironing board - i was not the only one down at breakfast sporting wet hair! the room was also not very well sound proofed and it was easy to hear even small noises from the surrounding rooms. overall the experience was not enjoyable and i was very glad to be only booked to stay there for one night.

    Beautiful hotel. Only negative were alcohol prices by their gorgeous pool, but that is to be expected in a hotel of this type.
