Pj Watergate Hotel Bangkok

Despite all the negative feed back from the review,my stay at PJ Watergate has been a pleasant one. Do not compare to a 4 or 5 star service,you will find yourself in a most relaxing mood.Easy excess to all except to skytrain.Definately will be back.

Good service Nice personal

Excellent location. Few meters away from the Pratunam market with all what you need. Few hundred meters from the Platinum mall (you need allmost a whole day to check all shops in it). If you are healthy and like to walk (as me) its allso on walk disstance (20 minute) to MBK and Discovery plaza. daily room cleaning. Nice atmospher. Good for its price. Helpfull reception staff.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Some even helped to search for my sister's missing earring which she dropped at the carpark. Its location is the best, situated at the heart of Pratunam and just a crossing to the best shopping area in Bangkok. With daily breakfast thrown in, it was one of the best for budget travellers like me. Thumbs up!!

The place is clean, service not bad. Only disadvantage is the location. It's not near to the train station and shopping area. Overall, consider slightly above average for the price that we paid. Very nice breakfast:)

A piece of advice. Ask for an upper floor room. After receiving a warm and friendly greeting we were very disapointed with our room. Although we had requested a preference for an upper floor room, we were given a ground floor room opposite the bar which had music playing each night.The main problem though was the smell coming from the bathroom. It smelled like raw sewerage. I immediately called reception to send someone to investigate. Nobody came so we went to reception and they told us someone would check it immediately. We went for dinner in the hotel restaurant which was nice and not too expensive. upon return of our room we found they had just sprayed the bathroom and put in an air freshner. In the morning we asked for another room and the staff seemed to be very unfriendly as if we were being awkward. We were given a room on the 2nd floor which was a lot better with no smells. After that our stay was pleasant the hotel is conveniently situated for the big world trade centre shopping malls with Siam square about a 25min walk.

Satisfied with the cleanliness of this hotel. Poor room view even we change our room for 2nd times -residential view when u look out the window (ppl cooking), very near.. Location -5 minutes walk to shopping area, cheap trading area. Lots of massage center around with reasonable prices. Local thai foods also can find around this hotel. Will stay in this hotel again.

We both 2 rooms and was staying at PJ for 5 nights. We had a lovely exprience. Staff was friendly and the location was great for shopperholics. Room was clean. The only thing was the breakfast spead is small and it is almost the same spread everyday.. Besides that there isnt any kettle in room to boil water.. Other than this PJ Watergate the place to stay if you are looking for a room which is clean, reasonable pricing, good service and in a good location. Well Done!!!

this is a nice hotel in a very bad spot ok to stay at if you do not mind walking down a smelly alley to get to it. It is nice and close a good shopping area with lots of market stalls and department stores.It is a bit hard for taxi drivers and tuk tuk drivers to find

We are staying on the ground floor.There are a lot of insects in the bathtub every morning. And the air refresher was awful. The smell is terrible. But for that price, I dont expect much.
