Novotel Lotus Hotel Bangkok

I had a reasonable experience at this hotel - This time I was in BKK only for one night. The hotel looks little dated, but the room was fine. The staff was good and polite and breakfast was fine. The air con was on full blast on all public areas and for me it was absolutely too cold, I had to wrap myself on a blanket for the breakfast! The Sky train is very close and so is the Emporium shopping centre.The rates at the Novotel Lotus are reasonable, the hotel is okay for a short visit.

Globally good quality price. Could maybe thing about some renovation...

Convenient location (near skytrain) and good resturants & bars.

The hotel was lovely, big rooms and very central. There were ample facitilies available including a pool, restaurants, gym and hairdressers. we had a very nice stay Stacey UK

Ideally located near to the Sky Train which makes getting around the city very easy. Also near to large shopping malls and many good restaurants if you want to eat out of the hotel. Excellent restaurants (particularly breakfast), very attentive and courteous staff. Our room was huge and very quiet. Good sized pool which is safe for children. Only facility not available was currency exchange but there are plenty of ATMs in the vicinity.

The hotel is basic however it suited our purposes with the location. The standard rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment including television. Instead of spending the money on brand new BMW's for airport cars they need to spend it on the rooms. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was quite good.

The location of the hotel was good (walking distance to BTS station).Many restaurants and pubs around the hotel area making it convenience to hang out. Room size was good for twin sharing and bathroom was clean. Will consider staying at the hotel on the next visit.

Nice place however a bit out from main area..however will stay again as the staff were very nice...specially the night manager..excellent breakfast.

The good: Location is close to the Skytrain (BTS) and Emporium shopping centre, so food is not an issue. The bad: At the price being paid, you'd at least expect breakfast to be provided without any extra charge. In-room internet charges are very expensive by many standards. Carpeting on the floor area where my room was located was very old and worned out.
