The location of the hotel is far from every thing (public transport, shops and entertainment) contradict with the advertisement and reviews. The Deluxe room is as small as the standard room, clean but simple. The staff is friendly but not very efficient, communication could be a problem even among the staff. The breakfast is boring, every day the same. The price is high compare to the quality of the room and service.

Nice cosy place with warm, prompt and personalised service and where else can you find cheap, clean and big rooms with free breakfast thrown in at just SGD 38 per room per night? Just rem to get the address card and recognise any road features or signs leading to the hotel as most cab drivers struggle to find. You must travel by cab to and fro esp at night where it is much too dark and deserted to walk, too obscure as well. Queen bed comfy with 4 huge pillows. Has over 30 cable channels. Lights can be bit dim and air con rather cold despite adjusting fan and thermostat. Bathroom excellent size. Overall clean. Love the ground floor cafe and mini courtyard, they keep 3 cute dogs too 1 shihtzu, 1 mini poodle and can't rem the other as it rarely appears :) In all, value for money so can't complain for the low price. Will consider stayin there again!

The location of Moeleng Boutique residence is ideal if you enjoy shopping. It's very close to Pratunam, about a 10-minute walk to a Sky Train station. The bus station is actually pretty far away.90BHT gets you to northeastern bus terminal and another 70BHT to get to the Train station. However,it's pretty easy to get Taxi's around the corner. The inn is tucked away on the side street so be sure to bring the hotel card as taxi drivers may get lost. The room was surprisingly nice-a huge bed, comfy pillows and the aircond worked. The washroom was adequate. Not ideal for those with bad knees or the elderly or those with kids-there's no elevator, only stairs. Breakfast is pretty bad if you are not a meat eater. Although i asked for no meat with my eggs, several slices of bacon (which is Haram to me,sort of like poop on my plate)was added. The toaster did not work, eggs were runny, coffee was really bad.I would advise walking a short distance away for breakfast. The service staff were not good with directions either. We were advised not to take the skytrain and get a cab as the station was allegedly half an hours walk away. It was actually only 10 minutes and was an easy walk. The noise from the staff and longterm guests was a huge factor in discomforting my stay. Not to mention it is very close to a large highway, practically underneath it. On the last day, eventhough i did NOT place a "please make up the room" sign, someone came in and a sum of money was lost. However, the management insist no one came in because no one signed in. Of course, why would you sign in to steal something. I would recommend Moeleng for people on a tight budget.

me and my frens were shocked to see the hotel initially. the pictures in the website was far better than what we see. after some calming down and some shopping spree, coming back to the hotel is like coming back to home. it was a great feeling to stay in the hotel coz the service was excellent. the room is not that bad afterall. the toilet is clean and the water is fresh with hot/cold water. the bed is damn comfy. i love it. tv stations are intersting. chamber maids come in every single day to make your room. keeping it clean. some rooms are linked so me and my frens can chat together anytime. locks are available to give urself privacy as well. the garden is so refreshing. something new to us, we took lotsa photo at the front garden:) extra info: first time i see a security doubling up as a bellboy and a server for breakfast. kewl! the key holder is unique as well. (though my fren broke one)

The overall one night stay satisfying, despite the renovation that's going on at the lobby area. Supposed it's gonna look better in the future when it's complete. Rooms, toilets, sheets, towels, etc are all pretty much no complains.

If you are a fussy traveller who emphasizes on optimum cleanliness and comfort, then Moeleng Boutique is not for you. It is more like a budget travellers' lodge (only 4-storeys high) than a hotel. There isn't any lifts/swimming pool/gym (you get the picture) and the place is rather old. The hotel is tucked away in a corner of a side road and MOST cab drivers DON'T know how to get there (even with the hotel's address in thai), thus it is rather inacessible and dangerous at night. However, it is walking distance to the nearest Pratunam Market & Indra Square. (abt 10 - 15mins). The room is small with old wooden furniture that are almost falling apart. The toilet is rather clean but VERY simple (do not expect hotel style). There is NOTHING MUCH offered in the room (No hairdryer/kettle/etc). It is just a budget lodge that serves you the basic necessities. The service is alright, most of the staff are friendly and helpful BUT most of them cannot really understand English, let alone speak the language, so be prepared for a language barrier. Breakfast is not buffet-style but instead, you have to order from the menu (only the first 4 items). Very limited variety but the fried rice is delicious and orange juice/water could be refilled with no additional charge. Moeleng is only suitable for travellers who aren't fussy and would like to find a quiet budget hotel for staying.
