Nice SPAarea low value for food and drinks at the hotelowned bars and restaurants; price for the hotel is given in USD, but it is actually paid for in Thai Baht (this is somehow unsatisfaying since there is a exchange rate gap which certainly is not in favour of the customer!); TV program could have been better (more international channels)

Conscierge service particularly poor and they tried to cheat us by insisting that we use their limousine services when we requested that they book us alternative service to the airport with AOT or some other service. we had to have the Duty Manager inter

I understand that this is a NEW to Hilton property. It is about 4 years old and this month is the grand opening as a Hilton property. I found it a very pleasant and well managed location. It has all the newest innovations that Hilton properties have introduced... spa, cafe, etc. The views are great, easy transport across the river via hotel water taxi... and of course, the very helpful and cordial Thai staff as I have come to appreciate very much in Thailand. Stayed for 4 days and look forward to returning as business takes me back to Bangkok. Pricing was cheap for a Hilton as it is likely introductory pricing, but hope that it is always less than 100USD. Rooftop pool overlooking the city is well managed and staff are always right there anticipating your needs..... only regret is I had to work too much and could not simply relax and enjoy....next time.....

All the great river views, yummy food, wonderful service..I'm coming back for sure. Prime steakhoust was wonderful, they have extensive wine list, good food, always like to be treated there. The rooftop Jazz lounge is amazing. Great music, best in town, nice atmosphere and stunning views of the river.

This was my third stay at this Hotel and I noticed that since it has become popular, the quaility of the hotel has declined. It appears that it has chosed to be a high end tour group hotel. That means the breakfast was packed and the food adequate. The pool is quite small and can get to be very crowed. The problem I has was that the staff made two errors and would not accept responsiities for their mistakes, I received a letter inviting me to use the club lounge, but when I arrived for breakfast ths staff implied I was trying to sneak in and would be charged. I returned with the letter and the manager grudingly stated I couuld use the lounge. Her attitude was less than friendly and I chose not to use the lounge. The second mishap occoured when the day before I was to check out I received a call telling me that I needed to leave. I explained that I was checking out the next day but was told to go to the front desk. When I went to the front desk they stated there was no problem with my reservation and no call was made. I went back to my room and housekeeping was cleaning it and showed my the paperwork stating that I was due to check out that day. I returned to the front desk and they finnally admitted that a mistake had been made. The Hilton is a large property and mistakes are made. My problem was the deniablity and the lack of accountability by the staff. The attitude was don' bother us. Unlike any Thai hotel that I have stayed in.

Amazing hotel The Grand Palace really does live up to it's name, head there and see the reclining Buddha at Wat Po whilst you're there. But warning - the Tuk Tuk drivers tried to tell us that they were closed for a special ceremony and that we needed to come back later. This was an outright lie as when we got there (with another Tuk Tuk driver) it was completely open.

A beautiful place, but nevertheless I checked out 4 days early due to what I perceived to be culturally insensitive comments and actions. A hotel in Bangkok should be welcoming to people of varying cultures, in particular to the local Thais who are Buddhists.

Never been to a hotel with such top notch service before. Everyone greets you with a smile. The staff will go out of their way to help you in any way that they can. About the reviewer complaining about their English, remember, you are not in the states, but in Thailand. We wouldn't expect the operator at a hotel in the US to understand Thai now would we. I think that is very ignorant of the reviewer to say.

I cannot emphasise too much just how great this hotel is. The service from the check in staff, to the concierge, the luggage guys, the restaurant and bar staff was exemplary. Everyone was just fantastic. They really made our holiday (honeymoon)into a memorable occasion. Our room was as described when booking. The view from the room, the Zeta bar and 360 degree bar, overlooking the Chao Phraya river and the City were unbelievable.Easy access to the City by 2 Hilton river boats (Free). The drinks were a little bit pricey but, this is a 5 star hotel. The service and food from Prime Restaurant was amazing. The rooms were very clean, serviced every day,and the bathroom was exceptional. We loved our stay at the Millenium Hilton and did not want to leave, already making plans for a return next year. Very highly recommended. Ian and Pam Ferguson.

GREAT HOTEL This hotel was the best I have stayed at. The people inside were there for what ever I asked for. I live in state where we have a number of five star hotels, this place rates right there. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Don’t go to bed
