Majestic Grande (Grand Wonder)

Magestic Grande Hotel is a perfect place to stay if you want to be in Sukhumvit. 5 star quality at 3 star prices. Great breakfast buffet, excellent maid service (just press a button on the wall when you exit the room and they'll come and clean it). They also have a fitness center. Very friendly staff. Not much of a view other than a freeway, but the double-glazed windows keep out street noise. Besides, who goes to Bangkok for the view outside the window. Would definitely stay here again; would not consider anywhere else. Hotel is close to Sky Train.

Highly recommeded for location, service, cleanliness and value for money.

The hotel is located in a quiet soi as such you don't get the busy nightlife activities. But just a short 200 metres to Sukhumvit Road and if you turn right towards Nana BTS there are bars, restaurants and street shopping. If you turn left from the Soi it is less than 100 metres to Ploenchit BTS. I will definetly stay here again due to its location, value for money and cleaniless. My only complaint was when I booked a taxi and the concierge didn't make it clear to the taxi driver of my destination. Only after after couple of minutes when the taxi driver knew of destination and refused to take me there due to traffic congestion and wanted to take me somewhere else for my dinner. I got so mad and told the taxi driver to take me back to the hotel. This wouldn't happen if the concierge had made it clear to the taxi driver of my destination.

I like it and cant wait to be there again,the reciption small but big smile on the face,the room in good size not small and most important clean very clean.I went with my family evry body were nice to my son ,service good and fast we only order drinks and water,there other restaurants around,we left our lugge and went to shing mai and evry thing was OK.For location if you want to go any where far there is a taxi rady for you and if you want you can walk 5 min for a tuk tuk.

Good luxury hotel with nice breakfast. Location was great near skytrainstation. Swimming pool was not good, it was quite small and location of the pool was on shadowed side of the building.

For a girls weekend of shopping, this was the perfect hotel. Rooms was large enough to cater to our request of twin beds, bathrooms were big, bright and very clean and the location was good for getting to quality shops and markets. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent high-class hotel, swimming pool small but functional, slightly odd location next to the dining area. Only real downside is Sukhumvit is fine for the markets (night bazaar and chatuchak) by taxi/skytrain, but a bit remote from the main tourist attractions, and there's some typical paedophile/bar girl sleaze in the area - hard, but possible, to avoid in Bangkok.
