Holiday Inn Silom Bangkok

This is very good hotel. We spent very good time there. Especially the breakfast is excellent. Hotel service was also nice. Walking to training station took 10min, which is still acceptable. It is an excellent hotel with reasonable price.

Price is very attractive and hotel standards very good for a considered 4 stars hotel. Very very unfriendly staff when dealing with conflict resolution. I have a stupid difference in my bill (1 chocolate bar) which the person in charge for my bill was very inpoliting on questioning and investigating whether I had taken it or not. Quite embarassing situation for so less.

The rooms facing the Silom Road are very noisy. Everything else was very good.

Located in a good location, walking distance from the Skytrain, look for gracious Thai service and decent rooms. Our room was nice sized, clean, with a spectacular view. The included breakfast buffet was presented on over 6 tables, with staff present to serve your every need. Only thing I would watch for; if you are quoted a price on the internet from a travel service, the hotel may use their own rates for money conversin which may not be the rate you expected (it happened to us). Overall, a good experience and we will return.

The House-keeping Dept is very efficient. The present system to replenish drinking water is to be kept.

This was my fifth time in Bangkok, and my first time in Holiday Inn Silom. Compared to the other hotels where I had already stayed, Holiday Inn Silom Hotel is really superb. The location is perfect, near the Chaopraya River (It takes 8 minutes walking to the Oriental pear)and one block from Bangkok BTS. Regarding to the cleanliness, I have nothing to complain about. The room was like brand new, It was not too big but sufficient for my needs. It has all the amenities that I need. The best aspect was undoubtedly the hotel staff. All of them were very helpful and friendly. In relation to the hotel value, I would say that It is really good value for money. This time, I have paid only 10 Euro more per night (79 Euro, breakfast Included) than in Hotel Narai (also in Silom area), which is a nice hotel but it cannot be compared with Holiday Inn Silom at all. I hope my review will be useful for other travelers.
