Grand Hotel Bangkok

Handy to the MRT. Seven Eleven close. Away from the shopping areas though. Service very good. Big swimming pool. Handy to the airport.

The room was very cheap so we didn't expect much, but it was extremely tatty and not particularly clean, the closet light also gave you an electric shock because the switch was broken, the staff were fine and the food was good. The location wasn't that great but it was just a short walk to the metro, which is cheap, clean and very efficiant and easy to use.

Although I read some negative reviews about this hotel I had a nice surprise as I did not expect this nice of a place for such resonable price. I was only in transit for two night. I stayed at the 31st floor and the view was great. I do recomend the place.

I didn't find anything good about this hotel except breakfast service which was just bearable. Hotel staff were not pleasant. The room was bad. the lamp in the bad room hanged out of the ceiling and the closet doors couldn't be closed properly, for instance. From outside, the building needs urgently repainted. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It is way over-priced.

the worst 4 star hotel if it is really 4 star

It's normal hotel, very big. I don't now accurately location, because we arrive midnight and we left next morning very soon towards cha am. Hotel's helpful porter reserve taxis and then we go towards cha am Sari Hmlinen, Finland

You'd better request higher floor room. You can see good view.

The Grand Ayudhaya Hotel has an absolutely wonderful foyer - it's as described in the pictures and the foyer is very beautiful. The rooms are fairly tired though the bathrooms were also marble and lovely. The Pool was good. The position of the hotel is in the never never and not near much at all. Their was a small market down the street but that's about it. I wouldn't stay there again purely because of the location. If it's in an area that you want to be then it's OK. But the windows don't open.

I have stayed here several times because of the location and most of the staff are very friendly. The rooms could do with modernization; I stayed in a luxury room but in terms of value for money it exceeds many others that you would pay more for. The room service quality is exceptional, especially the local thai delicacies.

There were no facial expression of the staff when we checkin at the reception and during checkout, the staff gave a blank look when I told him that there was a failure of power to the lightings in the room when I switched on the the hairdryer. The staff seems not helpful and friendly.
