Grand Bangkok Residence

We spent one night just before Christmas at the Grand Pinnacle before flying on to Phuket. The hotel is great for a one night stay as it is close to the airport and the complimentary airport transfer avoids the taxi problems reported by travelers at other hotels. We arrived at 11:00pm to find that the driver was not at the airport as promised however after one call to the hotel we were met by an expediter within 5 minutes and the driver arrived in another 10 minutes. The service was very good and the staff spoke good English. The rooms were simple but clean and the complimentary breakfast was good. I would not recommend this hotel for anything more than a one-night stay between flights but if you're looking for a simple, inexpensive, clean hotel close to the airport this is a good choice.

The hotel very close to airport no more than 10 mins by car. Although no eating (except small braekfast)or bar facilities there are two or three basic restaurants within a hundred metres. Hotel offers free internet but only one unit available. All in all ok place to stay. Coming from Bangkok taxi drivers will have difficulty finding so take telephone number

Perfect for an overnight stay next to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Repeat customer, always good service. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Free airport transfers - call if you cannot find them on arrival and they will be there quickly.

Great place for an airport overnight stop 15 mins from airport. Staff are extremly helpfull, free transfer back to airport ,when we left we were told that if we had phoned they would have come and picked us up from airport. Next door to a great Thai resteraunt. Would most definatly use again.

I would not stay at this hotel again as it was not a very good hotel fo the money i paid and dont think it was value for money. Good job I only had to stay for 4 nights or I would have found another hotel on the first day. I was told by a lot of taxi drivers that the hotel keeps changing its name and that they have not had any good feed back about this hotel, only bad. I would not stay there again and would not tell anyone about it. I will use your company again next year to book some rooms as I do every year but Not at this hotel.

AS the duty manager advised us, this is solely for transit travellers - it is in the middle of nowhere but very close to international airport, so is very convenient if you have an early flight and don't wish to get up in the middle of night to spend an hour or more in a taxi to airport. Hotel will pick you up on arrival at airport and also take you there for your flight. Room was adequate but little facilities (no beside tables). Bed was comfortable and clean linen. Bathroom tiny with open shower (no screen or curtain) so just about everywhere gets wet. Air traffic is noisy until late at night. Very few places around to eat but several 7-11 stores to get snacks etc. Not convenient if you want to go shopping - half hour taxi ride to On Nut(end of BTS train service). Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are airconditioned but hallways not.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay at this hotel en route to our next destination and all airport transfers to and fro were executed flawlessly. For a hotel priced at such a good rate (including b'fast!) with complimentary airport transfers available at virtually any hour, this is certainly a gem not to be missed if you need a hotel close to the airport. Taxi to the city costs about 300 Baht one way.

Very basic,but clean. Excellent for an overnight stay between flights. Courtesy transportation to/from airport.

This is a great overnight hotel for transiting passengers at the airport. The free pick up and drop off service is fantastic. The bed was enormous and breakfast was lovely. Very nice!
