Room was spacious and hotel staff were friendly and service was very good. The location of the hotel may appeal to those who loved nostalgia as the surrounding has an old world charm aboutit and seeing how the people live. Others may not like the location as it is diffcult to get a taxi off the street and the walk to the Skytrain need getting used to. The choices at the breakfast buffet needs improvement.

I selected this Hotel for all the positiv comments in the past . It was a very good experience during my entire stay until departure. The Hotel staff was very supportive and very helpful. The location is good and close to the riverside and skytrain station . I highly recommend this Hotel and looking forward to return

The hotel is old and the rooms need new carpet at the least, I stayed in room 505 and the airconditioner di not work all the time and the place smelled stale when you came back to it after a day away shopping or site seeing.....I don't feel that I got ripped off it is an old hotel......The staff are extremely helpfull and the roof top garden is nice.

everthing about the hotel was lovely. The staff where more like friends with our children, so they also enjoyed the stay. My only problem was the children where in a room that didn,t join ours there was a room inbetween. Very large rooms with seperate dining area. Laundry a bit expensive but local one just round corner. fantastic breakfast. staff great. would stay again.

My overall comments for the hotel is excellent but most taxl driver do not know the address so this is the negative point. Of cos for the budget traveller it is still a good place to stay as the BTS is within walking distance.

The hotel is quite nice, and staff are friendly. The only 2 problems were the location, and the breakfast. Breakfast spread was not very wide, and the portions left by 9AM was small. Although the official end time is 10AM, most of the food were gone by what the time printed on the voucher, 9:30AM. Location was relatively okay. Good if you stick to the riverside, but otherwise, you need the hotel card and the hotel number on hand to make sure the driver knows how to get there. Invariably due to the way the roads are designed, your best bet is to navigate from Silom road till the end. Otherwise, the BTS is another good bet since you start from Saphan Taksin (but you cannot get off the wrong exit, otherwise you have to walk all the way to the other station and U-turn back). If you get it right, its just 5-10 mins walk from Saphan Taksin station. Internet access was provided by CyberPOint ISP which was touch and go. If it worked, it worked well. If not, especially if the login failed, you need to wait at least 10 minutes before trying again.

Good room. Good staff. Good location. But it was hard to find the hotel for the taxi driver.
