Comfortable stay with sparkling clean rooms. My partner loves the feeling of staying at a home than a hotel; while I love the plentiful storage space for all my knick-knack. Security is pretty tight as you need the security card to operate the lift. Location-wise, it's good though it's away from the bustle of Sukhumvit activities. Within walking distance to both Asoke subway station and Sukhumvit skytrain station. However, we lost our way locating the hotel (on the night of check-in) after we landed on the main Sukhumvit Road as the hotel is situated on a branch road which is kinda obscure. No sweat getting in and out of the hotel for the rest of the days after we orientated ourselves. A pity that the tiny swimming pool is more a 'eye-candy' than functional one, and the gym is 'compact' too. But both pool and gym are clean, and equipment looked really new. Overall our experience is good. We would return to stay there again.

Fantastic place to stay. The room was lovely, loads of storage and all mod cons - it was a bit like playing house! The location was very central and it was very near the BTS and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again as it was great value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Doors are disturbing as these are so heavy. You can "not only" hear your neighbors coming and going "but also" feel a vibration on floor and walls caused by the doors. The internet service was good though so this place can be recommanded to those who are need in stable internet connection. Bathroom can be an issue if you are more than 1 person. Difficult to get the water within human friendly temp as it switch between HOT and COLD. Hotel staff are friendly though. The swiming pool seems to be a joke. It is narrow and long in size although can be difficult if there are 3 people who wish to swim at the same time. The building nearby shadows the sunlight most of the time. No chance for sun bath either. I'll try to book another place next time.

Excellent Hotel on a quiet soi but not many taxi drivers can locate soi 16. Nice pool and fitness center, free (fast) internet and great ambience to this hotel. Rooms are large enough and AC is powerful and you can cook your own meals in Kitchenette or use the microwave, Also had an iron for ironing clothes if you want to. Location is not far from the BTS station and lots of Taxis in front of hotel. Staff was friendly and a Foodland Supermarket is near by. Did not try the breakfast but I liked everything else about this hotel and highly recommend it. I have stayed there 6 times over the past two years while on business in Bangkok.

I am a frequent traveler to Bangkok for business and have stayed in numerous hotels. The Citidines ranks up there as one of the best for the money. The room is larger than most and it has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. If you are not familiar with Bangkok the location can be a little daunting, but a 3 to 5 minute walk has you to the Asok skytrain and from there you can head out in any direction.

8mins walk to Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. Will be more convenient when connecting bridge between nearby Exchange Tower to the BTS station is completed. Room is new and modern. Very cosy feel. Nice breakfast set at cafe next door. 24-hr supermarket and eatery nearby. A small but good-size swimming pool and gym at rooftop.

An Ascott managed pocket friendly hotel with a huge room, very clean, a kitchenette with almost all untensils and plates you needed. Loved the brightness of the room in the day time but the air ventilation is needs to be improved, smoked in the room with the windows opened, but the smell seems to be there all the time, same problem when you do simple cooking in the room (we could see other units opening their doors to 'improve' the ventilation). The other thing would be the location of the powerful LG air-conditioner, it was at the top side of the bed, no matter how u adjust it, the cold air will still lands on the bed, but luckily, the blanket are thick and comfortable. It was a small hotel, therefore taxi drivers tends to miss it, bring a namecard along(from the reception) for the driver, specially at night.
