food variety, quality poor,no table service, room not cleaned properly and defective plumbing prior to occupation not fixed upon request. bathroom poorly finished. Location too far away from rail. I have had better facilities/location/food at a much better price

I went to Bangkok's holiday for quite number of times, but this will be my first & last time staying in Bangkok Palace Hotel. It was a very bad experienced that my friends & I had during our stay there. Guess what we saw in this hotel:- - Cockroach in the room - Housekeeping only tidy up the room but did not change the bedsheets - Breakfast in reastaurant, saw cockroach crawling around - FrontLine Office no alertness when we asking for hotel room key, they pass the key without asking hotel guest name.

This nice deal hotel, if you are looking for clean place and reasonable rates, definetly, it's good, and not far from Pratunam, and World Center, Big C supermarket.

Hotel is located near the Pratunam street. Good thing is that the best spa of Bangkok named Health and Care Spa was literally at the doorstep of the hotel.

the location is great, its accessible to the market,restaurant,coffe shops etc.. got a free buffet breakfast there and the food is great. I realy like the place, i realy like the hotel and the people(staff)are nice. Someday if I will visit Bangkok again i would rather to stay in Bangkok Palace because its affordable and great hotel.

This is a very OLD hotel. Unless otherwise they renovate, I would not recommend it. HOWEVER, this is still a good deal for budget travelers who just need a place to sleep :)

what i like in this hotel is that they have great staff..i forgot my wallet in my room and i was really afraid that it might get lost because we had our room make-up..but to my surprise when i get our key in the hotel lobby there was a note that says that a wallet was found inside my room..unbelievable..all my money was there..i really commend the staff here..they were kind and honest..

Although i've travelled several times to Bangkok, this is my first experience to stay at Bangkok Palace. The location of the hotel is near many market place. Breakfast time at the restaurant is very crowded, it shows that the hotel is choosen by many traveller.

The staff is very kind and helpful, and though English is difficult at times, they always try to please. Any problems I had were dealt with immediately. The location is really convenient for walking to major cheap shopping centres and the main electronics mall. While the hotel is not superflash, my room was a 'junior suite', very large and comfortable and reasonably priced. The main temples and other tourist attractions near the river are about 30 minutes by taxi, which will cost maybe $10. Get a metered taxi!! I've stayed at this hotel twice now and would go back again. If you want luxury, go elsewhere and pay lots more.

Good enough hotel. Not fantastic in any way but okey. Breakfast was boring and tasteless.
