I really experience a very bad service in this hotel. Compared to other hotels in this category in Bangkok, Baiyoke Sky is really a vary bad choice.

I visited various trade fares about 22 times and of those times I stayed about 18 time in the Baiyoke Sky. I will come back time and time again. I stayed once in a 4 star and this was definitely not better than the 3 stars of the Baiyke Sky. The other time I stayed in different hotel as sometimes the package deals have forces me to. Breakfast is a variety that you will not get any where at least not at any of the other hotels I stayed. The rooms are bigger and they do not hesitate to upgrade you if it is available. The are at the centre of the town 5minuts walk to a sky train station and at the doorstep of Pratunum market that is also near a couple of other clothing centres. The only disadvantage is that the lobby is on the 18th floor therefore you need to take 2 elevators to your room first from ground to the lobby and from their to your room, but the breakfast, service and large rooms make it defiantly worth it

Our forth trip to BKK and this is definitely a great hotel to stayin. I especially like the room size cos it's so spacious!! The location is great and we are welcome by warm customer guest relations even at the lift lobby. Only thing is the breakfast that comes with same variety everyday. Will appreciate if it can be change on weekends with different variety as our stay in BKK is usually average around 4 to 6 days. Hopefully this can be considered. In summary, the hotel is value for $ and would definitely come back to Baiyoke Sky on my fifth visit!

The first impression about the Baiyoke Sky was old and worn-out. There would be some need for renewing the room facilities and the bathroom. The room was big but the interior was worn and out of date. In the shower I hit my nose to the water jet as it was located so low on the shower wall. Breakfast was included in the price but it was a disappointment. For example getting some bacon and eggs was behind pain and waiting as they were given behind a desk - unlike the other stuff that was served in a buffet. The rice was not delicious thai jasmine rice but something reminding me of the poor quality rice at home in Europe. At least the views from up there were very nice. The room service was excellent and the elevators were very fast considering the hight of the building. But who wants to pay 300 baht per 30 minutes for the wireless internet? C'mon, it is 2009 now and the internet should be provided to customers for free! Regard of the complaints the hotel was ok near the cheap shopping bazars of Pratunam. The location was far away from nigh life of Silom, though. Location was ok on

Rooms were big and nice, but the building is unbearably big and as such the service is quite bad. The room we booked was a suite which was quite large but there was NO furniture in the room other than a bed and a very small TV (maybe only 19inches). This made the room look very spartan and the dining area looked more like a ballroom, not even a table a chair to sit down on. why pay for a suite when all you have is 'square footage' and no useable space. I really dont have anything nice to say about this hotel to be frank, the room was overpriced just because it was 'the baiyoke sky hotel' but location sucks, the views suck, the service sucked, the cleanliness sucked, the restaurants (including the revolving one on top) sucked. Nothing positive to say here at all.
