The location of the hotel was ideal for getting to the local shopping and eating houses in the busy area of tow. There was no noise even though there was renervation work taking place to the hotel. I would stay there again and would recommend it for anyo

I have been coming to Thailand for over 6 years now, and each time, upon arrival in Bangkok I stay in teh Ambassador Hotel first, to recover from my overseas flight. This year, i was pleasantly surprised with the renovation works they have done! The Hotel looks so much better! Always nice to be back at the Ambassador, with its location on Sukhumvit, it is right in the middle of shops and restaurants, and the skytrain. I enjoy the swimming pool as well! Can really recommend this Hotel to anyone!

We stayed in the Tower Wing - on the Privilege floor... These unit were renovated over a year ago. Enjoyed the spaceciousness of the room. The renovated bathroom has a short coming - as there are no shower curtains, when taking a shower, water runs along the rim of the bathtub and floods the floor.... We encountered this a year ago but no remedy has been found, or maybe it is not reported.... We enjoyed our 5 nights stay... I find though for the price we pay, they should include FREE internet connection in the room. Also, there is something the hotel should do about the foul air at the Tower Wing lobby area in front of the elevators... The air is stale, from food smells and ?, lacking fresh air..... The hotel location is unbeatable.... We'be been stying there for over 6 years now when in Bangkok.....Oh, we had a flat TV but the TV channels are so limited and reception can be poor.... This should be addressed.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's close to Nana Plaza and there are many good restaurants in the area and its close to the Sky Train. Everything else about the hotel is bad.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Ambassador in Bangkok and I have enjoyed all three stays. The central location makes it an ideal hotel.
