Wonderful hotel, very helpful staff, great breakfast, excellent pool. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in -- anywhere in Europe, North America, or Asia.

Domestic airport is just across the highway but still requires a 100-200 Bt taxi fare.

I stayed in the hotel simply for a long layover and had a good rest. The hotel location was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable.

Perfect location for stopovers on flights through Bangkok.

The Amari Airport Hotel at Don Mueang doesn't approach the standards of the Amari Boulevard or Watergate where I have stayed previously. There was poor front desk service - after apparently losing my booking they later insisted with my colleagues that I was not a guest at the hotel and we missed the opportunity for an important meeting. The upgraded room I booked was shabby with large stains on the carpet, a broken light switch and noisy air conditioning. The complimentary fruit basket mentioned in the booking never arrived. The business centre service was good but expensive. Transport between the hotel and the domestic terminal is difficult with the closure of the overhead walkway and a taxi ride is required for the short journey - this will cost about 50Baht (1.50USD) if you hail a taxi in front of the hotel or 300Baht (9USD) if you use the hotels taxi service.

check your location the hotel was great and was upgraded to executive suite compliments of hotel on both occasions I stayed. Just check it is near the Internation Airport you are using as it was 40km away from the new airport but just over the road from the old one.

We loved it. Great service and staff helpful. Restaurant and bar available. My husband enjoyed the fitness center and I got an oil massage right in the hotel it is just romantic and recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Since I¿ve been home I¿m already bragging of the hotel accommodations.

This Hotel was perfect for what I needed, I was on an internal flight within Thailand very early in the morning so I needed a Hotel near the old Airport. The Hotel was more than I expected for the price I paid and very clean, The staff as Thai norm where first class. My room was massive and everything was fine. I had a meal in the sports bar where there was a live singer on, the meal was cheap and good. If you want a rave, do not go to this Hotel, but if you want clean room, friendly staff and very cheap then this is the one for you. I had a Taxi waiting for me at the door at 5am the next morning and the fare was 150bht which took about 8 minutes to the termial building... I will use this Hotel more, Well done to there staff..

Amari Don Muang is a very nice hotel which is much more affordable now that the airport has closed. It is not convenient to most busy areas of Bangkok but a 15 minute taxi ride can get you to the Skytrain. The food quality at the resturant is great. Staff is excellent. Would like to see more available Bangkok Post newspapers only complaint.
