Adelphi Suites

Great Place Adelphi Suites is a fantastic place right in the heart of the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. A very short walk to the skytrain and in the midst of tons of great restaurants and bars. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed. The beds are comfortable, the fitness center a little small, but certainly sufficient to get a good workout and the rooftop pool very comfortable. About the only complaint I can make is that there are only 4 lounge chairs at the pool and the area is a little small. It was never crowded, though, while I was there. And it was open late into the night for a moonlit swim. Nice. Traveler's tip on nightlife Nana Entertainment Plaza is a 5 minute walk away... if you like that sort of thing.

Second stay in this hotel and still great value for money. Maybe a bit further from the centre but easy to reach by sky train. Also easy to reach from the airport by public bus nr 552 (bus stop is On Nut BTS station).

Excellent service and location. Airport transfers best booked with AOT, official Thai airport limos. Cheap and more reliable than local taxis. Avoid Tut- tuts. Avoid the tours in the city poor value. Do local tours either by hiring a taxi yourself or by train.

Ideal small hotel WE spent just onenight at the Adelphi in mid-June, but were extremely pleased. Less than 500 feet from the BTS SkyTrain Nana station, the hotel is exceptionally convenient to central Bangkok. Count on a 30-40 minute taxi ride from the airport at 450 Baht (15$). The buffet breakfast has tremendous variety, with fresh fruit, pastries, hot western food and well as Asian offerings. The rooftop pool and gym offer great views of the surrounding area.

In their excellent restaurant they hadnt any special childs meny which was the only thng we missed in this hotel. All other thing was very good.
