Doulos Hotel

Good things about this hotel: 1) Fantastic Service (Every staff is absolutely amazing in their politeness, friendly, helpful and they anticipate your needs) When I miss my booking for everland, one of the staff took her initiative to do a research on how to go there by our own. She passed me the note before I left the hotel the next day. (which I didnt ask for it) 2) Room is spectacularly Clean! Feels very comfortable and there is a free evian water bottle everyday in the room. Free chocolate too. Bed is good for a couple and its not eerie thats for sure. 3) Breakfast provided. Pretty good but limited choices. 4) There is a theatre at B2 which holds church services. 5) Free internet. Really fast speed internet. 6) Very Convenient. You can go Sightseeing at the palace in just 2 stops away. MyeongDong is only 3 stops away. Bad thing bout the hotel: 1) Its hard to find the hotel when we first came by bus to jongna 3 ga station. My tip is search for dream palace building then look up for doulos hotel logo. its somewhere in the middle. If you are carrying a huge luggage becareful of the rocky roads. they are doin construction now. 2) Its very quiet at night and its not advisable to bring too much cash out when u r comin back late. Ladies must be aware of drunkards at the back alleys. Its dark and avoid alleys. Best if u can take a cab straight to the hotel lobby. The reception will provide u a card of the hotel location. 3) Room is very small but cosy. Advisable for couples or business tripS. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I ever stayed. Comparable to many 5 star hotels which I stayed. You wont regret it. =)

A basic and simple hotel, but very friendly, clean and everything worked. Very good central location, although the immediate surroundings are not so impressive! Happy to recommend.

Our stay with Doulos Hotel was for sure a memorable one. Hotel location is centralised, surrounded by heaps of restaurants which served good food of all price range, easy access to subways provide easy access to other places. The staffs at Doulos Hotel are very helpful and always at your service and speaks good English. It's an experience you won't regret. Keep up the good work Doulos!!

Excellent hotel. Located a 5-minute walk in behind a main road in Seoul from a metro line, though it is a little difficult to find initially. Rooms are comfortable and look new. No wardrobe, but good amenities and great beds. Staff are very helpful. Water filters and drink vending machines are available on the 2nd floor, and the breakfast provided is adequate before a big day's sightseeing or business. Excellent location in downtown Seoul, about 10-minutes walk from Jongmyo Temple and palaces. Good restaurants and a horde street food vendors are also close at hand.

A very decent place to stay and to travel to/from whilst exploring Seoul. Rooms may be small but are perfect if this isn't an issue. Highly recommended

Only problem we found with the hotel was finding it as it is tucked away down a small street but what we found was a lovely hotel, attentive staff and great value for money. The simple buffet breakfast was a bonus too.
