Conveniently Located Stayed here for four nights in December 2007. Great location; close to subway and Insadong, but the hotel is kind of dingy and they made us move rooms our last night, which was a bit of a hassle. This is a good hotel for people who spend more time away from the hotel than in it. Traveler's tip on local attractions Insadong is a great area for souvenir shopping and it is close to the palaces. Anguk Station (Line 3) and Jongno -3 (sam)ga Station (Line 1, 3 and 5) are within easy walking distance.

Small, but friendly - good location Rooms are well outfitted and the beds comfortable. However, the rooms are very small. But a combination of the price (which includes breakfast) and the location make it a place where I would likely return. Not as good for you are traveling as a couple versus a single traveler.

We were very disappointed in the hotel over all. For what we paid, we were expecting a nice hotel and good service. The staff appeared busy or annoyed any time we tried to talk to them. The computers in the business centers were antiques and took too long to load the pages. The room was hot all day and night. The windows were very small and could not cool the room at all. We repeatedly called and went down to the front desk to ask for the air conditioning to be turned on, but it rarely helped. One night it was on for only about 3 hours. We couldn't sleep because it was too hot. One of the 3 in our party slept on the floor under in vent trying to stay cool enough to get even a few hours of sleep. She was miserable all night, every night. We could have stayed at a love motel for cheaper and had better service. We will never stay in this hotel again and will discourage all of our friends from staying there.

Great Location Great location, very comfortable bed, decent value. Breakfast was included, but as a non-Korean it was hard to get excited about any of the breakfast offerings. Still, I’d stay here again.

The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is rather far from the airport.

The room was smaller than I was used to but it had everything I needed and was clean and quiet. I ordered room service for dinner and was very pleased with the quality of the meal, the size of the portions, the price, and the service. Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel.

The rooms were small, but clean with good amenities. I was pleased the responsiveness of the staff.

The only good thing about this place is the location - it is literally less than 5 mins walk to Insadong and about 10 mins to the nearest metro station. The palace is also within walking distance. The hotel is a little run down, the carpets look dirty and the corridors are dark & dingey. When we first arrived they were going to give us a twin room - we insisted on a double. The double room was tiny, the A/C didn't work and there were mosquitos in the room. The bed was awful - we could not sleep all night. The next day we asked to change rooms and the staff obliged - thankfully the hotel had emptied out and we got a twin which was a lot better - the beds were comfortable and room was huge in comparison. The hotel is OK for budget travellers, but next time we'll probably stay in one of the many new service apartments in town.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The room was clean and adequate for a budget traveller. The bathroom ceiling is low so you may have issues if your tall. If you get a room on the 2nd floor next to the noisy banquet hall demand a new one immediately. The first night the party ended at 10pm but the second night it was after 11pm and there was no sign of it letting up. The hotel staff did move us to the 6th floor - but only after I had a fit. Overall this is a good budget hotel in a good location.
