Well the hotel stay there at the Ohmokgyo Co-op was okay I guess besides the fact that I requested in my reservation a extra bed because we were a family of four and that request was never heard or met. The location of the hotel is also one thing the surronding area is like living on the industrial side of pittsburgh with a bunch of steel factories around, even though the hotel is close to a train staion that is the only convient thing. it's far from the markets and it's far from downtown but that train is the only thing that saves the hotel the bar on the first floor only serves beer and soko so don't ask for brandy or vodka. They speak very little english we had a couple of communication snags but luckily they speak Japanese in which me and my spouse are very fluent. in all we had a good time in seoul but i do wish i would of did a little more looking into the details of the hotel. I suggest you save this hotel option as a last resort."

Nice hotel, but about 1 hour from either of Seoul's main business districts, and with little going on in the immediate area

nice, clean hotel, small rooms, but if you do not need much space, great value ...

It's a great place to stay if you plan to spend most of your time outside the hotel. I didn't say that because the room was unbearable. The room was clean, neat and nicely appointed with most of the necessary amenities such as towels, hairdryer, and basic cooking utensils. The bathroom/toilet was a little small and potentially dangerous for a clumsy person like me. I almost banged my head of the small ledge that extends from the wall several times. But that's just me. The floor is nicely heated and you can open your window if it gets too stuffy in the room. The location is perfect for me. Not too close to the city that you are bothered by 'city' noises, but just 2 minutes away from the subway. However, I might consider staying at other Co-op residence closer to town because I ended up spending an extra 30-45 minutes each day on the subway getting into downtown areas such as Myeongdong and Dongdaemun. The hotel staff was relatively helpful. However, their English skills are extremely limited, but they tried. I'm very satisfied with the hotel and the rates Asiarooms offered. However, it'd be even more impressive if Asiarooms could provide reservation/rates for other types of rooms i.e. premier and suites. Currently Asiarooms only offer the 'standard' (least expensive) room. All in all an enjoyable stay and a great experience in Seoul!

The Ohmokgyo co-op Residence hotel is very nice, I can fully regard this 3-star hotel to anyone who wants to spend his or her time in Seoul comfortable. The staff is very friendly and speaks part. very good english, the rooms are clean, you got LCD TV, Aircond., big bed everything new. (The Hotel I stayed has been build approx. 12/04) Internet for 7 days costed 9000 Won, canteen was good-ok. (costed 4000 Won) Only minus, the area in which the Hotel is, is not so good. Looks like a industry and manufacturing place for metals etc. (Hotel at Pyongyang Station). Hint : Incheon Airport -> Bus to 'Mokdong Station' (6500 Won) -> Taxi to Hotel (4000 Won) Metro is very inexpensive... :)

Clean, compact room. Friendly staff. Close to subway, mainly local shops nearby. Only 2 mugs in room, need own crockery & cutlery to self-cater. Great value for money. Would use again.

Nice clean small room The room price is reasonable. Oh-Mok Gyo Co-op is near an access bridge to Han River Park which is perfect for running and enjoying Seoul’s Han River. There is also a 24 hour convienence Family Mart in the building which was great to pick up snacks at odd hours if jet lagged. The fitness and laundry center are great, also. The front desk even had transformers free for American guests to use laptops etc. The mini kitchen allows cooking of small meals. The television is a small 13 inch. Internet for the room is a small additional cost. The bathroom is Korean style. Hairdryer is provided. Room has ondol heated floor and is nice to walk on. Beds are low to floor. Linen is changed every other day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Shower is Korean style (shower does not have a tub, enclosed floor/door or curtain) so bring shower shoes. Some are provided, but, we liked having our own.

I had stayed in the Residence before and had a wonderful trip. So I reserved to go back again next time I was in Seoul. The room we got was not what we reserved. The second room who two single beds for my gf and I, the beds were much harder, and the room was overall less comfortable. When I asked to be moved to a different room the staff was no help.

As with all other CO-OP hotels in Korea, the rooms are very clean. The location of Ohmokgyo co-op Residence is ok but just keep in mind that the airport limuosine buses does not stop nearby. You have to change over to a taxi which costs around 5000won.

Not impressed. Price is right, but the location is bad. Even Taxi driver had a hard time to find it. Subway station(Line 5) is two blocks away and far away from downtown. ROOM IS CLEAN. Has cooking facility. Shower room. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Subway system is excellent. It cost $1 for downtown and areas of attraction.
