When I complained that I was booked to a three-bed room, hotel changed me to a two-bed room right away. Internet in the hotel room is far too expensive (KRW 60.000 per day!! ~ 2/3 of the room price!!!)

This is a horrible hotel. It is very dirty and old. The air quality in the hotel is horrible too. The staff was drank after 5 pm almost every night. It was money very badly spent.

The hotel is located within walking distance to a shopping mall/ bus terminal, Central City. The hotel room is clean & comfortable, esp. their comforter. Although most of the services require charges, their internet usage at their Business Centre is free for 10 mins of usage. It's relative acceptable for those who only need to check mail or get some quick info. Their staff are very friendly & polite. Always ready to help us out if we need any clarifications on our scheduled venues.

Local call costs 2500W ea, ( ~ $ 3.00) per call- outrageously expensive. Even though several calls were NOT connected, the hotel charged per "call attempt", and when I asked for refund of these, the front desk personnel HASSELED....Unpleasant experience. Internet connection costs W 15,000 ($ 20 ) per day! Another outrageously expensive charge to hotel guest. Hotel did NOT provide a bottle or two of "fresh bottled drinking water", and I had to go out to a market to buy bottled water - Many other Seoul Hotels provide at least a bottle or two of bottled drinking water daily, but NOT the Palace Hotel. Bakery shop,and its pasteries were at best mediocre in quality, while its pricing is HIGH! ~$ 3.00 for a small piece of Castella cake. TV remote control did not work, and service person had to be called in over two hours, three different times to get it to work. Yet, the remote control barely worked, and all throughout my stay, TV watching required a great deal of pain to make TV to work. Daily room charges were NOT available on TV's hotel guest menu.
