the place is superb. people are helpful and food is good. The location is fantastic and everything just available within the walking distant. I like it so much

I totally fall in love with Coex Intercontinental Hotel Seoul!! The service in the hotel is good and the staff are very helpful. The room is clean and spacious. I requested for an early check in (8.45am in the morning)and my request is granted with no additional charges! The location is superb!The underground COEX shopping mall is just next to the hotel, so convenient and it is really a great place to shop in Seoul! The shopping mall is so huge that you can spent all day enjoying shopping inside the mall.There are plenty of local Korean and western foods can be found in the mall and the subway station is only about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Another adding point is the direct airport express bus service just right in front of the hotel, it makes the journey to Incheon airport so much easier and cheaper.I definately will stay in COEX Intercontinental Seoul again in my next vist to Seoul!

Excellent Hotel & Great Service. But, bathroom not cleaned well -- lots of human hairs in tub & sink area. Also, towels look really old and no wash cloth or tolietries are offered. Best feature, is computer with internet access is included (free) in the room.

We stayed here overnight and were very impressed with the room we were given. It very spacious (far beyond what you'd expect for a double room in a budget hotel) and there was also a third, fold-out bed provided. We were also impressed with the large, clean bathroom, and the TV which had many channels to watch (including several that showed English programs). On the down side, the room lacked some items which would have been nice to have (i.e. a jug to boil water with, shampoo and toothpaste). Also, the Korean name of the hotel on the print-out to show to the taxi driver was incorrect and so our driver had problems recognising it at first. But other than that, our stay there was just great. The staff are friendly and speak English well. The hotel is also close to the subway. You can get to the hotel by taking line one to Jongno-3-ga station, and going out of exit 13. (Consult the neighborhood map on the wall of the subway station next to the exit before you leave.. But you only need to walk for a couple of minutes to get to the hotel. :))

Very quiet and HVAC system worked very well. Internet access should be free at hotels of this caliber and room rate.

The location is good, and it comes with free internet. However the hotel definitely is a budget hotel, and the service is average. There's a lot of noise from outside and inside. Also I made a wakeup call, but they forgot to do it.

Nice and located in a proper area. Staffs are friendly, hopefully will come back again

The COEX Intercontinental is a smart and trendy 5 star hotel superbly placed in Seoul's premier Kangnam business district. Being adjacent to the COEX Exhibition and Convention Centre, and the City Air Terminal makes this a superb choice for business travellers. The facilities and style of the hotel has a stylish youth and vigour to it, and it will certainly appeal to the more dynamic guest. Those with a contemporary eye will prefer the Grand Intercontinental. Facilities include modern, yuppie open Asian restaurants and a space-age skybar with sleek lines and an abundance of chrome. Rooms aren't all that special to be honest, total comfort but zero character. For this price you'd expect a bit more flair, but apart from the predictability of them there's nothing amiss. Service is indeed 5 star and English thankfully is as good as any other hotel in the city. Prices however are too high and can only be justified by the silly rates that other Seoul hotels charge. But having said that, it is a very tasteful, attractive and comfortable top range option with a splendid location for those wanting to reside in the heart of swanky Kangnam.
