Brown Hotel Seoul

The room was dusty, damp, and smelled like it hadn't been aired out for months. The toilet had stains and there weren't enough outlets. Also, the towels and bedding (which was also slightly stained, but still obviously laundered) had an odd smell to them. I tried to spend as little time as possible actually IN the room. That being said, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and if I stayed there again (which I never will) it would only be because of them.

I only stayed at Brown Hotel for one night, but I was generally pleased with the accomodations as a whole. The staff was very friendly and the room size and bedding about as comfortable as it gets in Asia. For the Seoul area, this is a relatively inexpensive option. So if you are traveling on a budget, this is a good choice. In comparison to other hotels I have stayed at elsewhere in South Korea (such as Busan), however, this hotel provides lower quality accomodations and services for a greater price.

Very dirty carpet, it needs to be cleaned. Very hard to find the address, as it is not a popular hotel nobody knew the location. The nearest metro station could be included as a really useful tool to get there.
