The City Bayview Hotel

Nice, decent hotel. Plus it also affordable. Nice breakfast, rooms are very clean, including very superb fixtures. What makes city bayview an excellent choice is that is not just located in the city center, but is also located right in one of the major shopping districts. Plus the nearest MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station is not far away from this hotel.

Not impressed They have a PA system in the halls that starts playing loud music early in the morning to "wake people up". We requested an extra blanket and it took over an hour. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The subway is convenient to get around.

Bayview is a nice hotel, It would be better that the pool was opened longer. It closed at 7pm. After a big day site seeing would been nice to have a swim as Singapore is hot and humid. There was a good variety for Breakfast. Staff were friendly. I would use the hotel again.

Stayed for a week and really enjoyed it! This small 4-star hotel is located near to many food outlets including a food court that is open 24x7, and a 7-11 store (open 24x7) is just next to it -- definitely a good place for night owls. A Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) building is just next door so one can visit the art exhibitions that are frequently held there.

+ It has free Internet Broadband connection, which is a "big plus" despite all other short comings - breakfast is terrible and you cannot adjust the temperature in the room

Great location. This hotel is centrally located within walking distance of lots of interesting areas. The hotel itself wasn’t exceptionally special, but clean and adequate for our purposes. Staff was helpful with our touristy questions. The free breakfast buffet is fantastic, with wonderful, ethnic Singaporean coffee.

Well it seems the air conditioning in the room we were to have wasn't working. They had solved our problem before we arrived with an upgrade.
