Very nice hotel in singapore Just changed ownership and name from Raffles Plaza to The Fairmont. Also is a very strong international brand. Rooms are not brand-new but is still very comfortable and modern. Would recommend as a 4-5 star hotel.

Can’t go wrong with Raffles The Plaza! Very clean (duh) and super location! The hotel is convenient, well appointed, and connected to a mall with great shoping/food as well as the best city view with a sky bar called Equinox way up on the 72nd floor. Good family hotel with large rooms as well.

Excellent location It is an excellent location. The hotel breakfast is great, so I recommend people choose to include the breakfast -- It would be $26 to include vs $40 pay by yourself. However, you can get very good and varied and very cheap food in the connected shopping complex/mall. My only complain is the restroom’s flushing machinism is very hard to use. Every time I use it, I feel mad, and they should really change that stuff. I can’t imagine older people or weaker people could flush their own toilets there!!! Traveler's tip on local attractions It’s in the central location of shoppings and sights, so it’s very good.

Next to metro/underground, shopping malls & food outlets. Nice spa & good service. Will come back for its location & value for money. Traveler's tip on shopping Walking distance from Funan Centre, the IT & electronics shopping mecca. But do not shop anywhere except in large stores where prices are fixed. Singapore has still a lot to do in disciplining its shop owners/attendants NOT to cheat & lie. They take ALL tourists as EASY prey!
