Novotel Clarke Quay

All in all, perfect location with very comfortable and clean rooms - a great hotel choice, if price were not a factor.

Having booked a package that offered an executive room we were very disppointed to be in an obviously single room with no access to the bed on one side, no bedside table, lamp etc. and minimal cupboard space. The restaurant and reception...

Well located, helpful staff, however rooms are starting to look and feel tired - e.g. door surrounds in bathroom were rotting at floor level due I suppose to water from bathroom floor.

ALSO, for those travelling onward or doing sightseeing in Malaysia/Indonesia, they stored some of our luggage for free for a few days while we went to Indonesia. A definate plus and a nice service.

We loved this hotel, particularly for its location at Clarke Quay overlooking the river with ferry boats cruising by. Just a short stroll and we were in the midst of all the retaruants, shopping and entertainment we could need. The famous Orchard St was a short taxi ride away. The rooms were lovely and well furnished although the bed was a bit hard!! Staff were professional, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast at this hotel was by far the best we have experienced in our travels around the world.
