Nice Hotel There's nothing to complain about this hotel except the mattress of the bed - veeeery hard.

It is a decent hotel and is conveniently located as well. However at SGD 200 per night I would expect them to include b/fast. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are highlights if you are just lazying around. Not a honeymooner's hotel but good for holiday and business travellers

+ Helpful to allocate us a temporary room as we arrived, very tired, early in the morning, with children. The hotel is in a good location.

I got an upgrade, the room was very bright, nicely decorated and very comfortable (bed as well). i am not so sure of the standard room though. But what impressed me most was the excellent service, very well trained and thoughful staff. The location is great as well, just a 10 minutes stroll to City Hall, one of the main underground interchange. I will definately recommand anyone this hotel.

The location was excellent - close to Dhouby Ghout MRT interchange. The breakfasts were very good - a nice selection of food at the buffet. After we checked out, the hotel secured our luggage until we returned, ready for our transport to the airport.

Inflexibility in extending late check out We checked in late at night around 22:00PM on 8th May... But when checking out, we’d like to extend late check out to 3PM - the hotel wouldn’t allow so without extra charge and hence we needed to check out in the morning before going out to do our businesses. When checked in the first room we had was on 8th floor, the key didn’t work. We then got a new room with no view at all on floor 6th room 635. Two room keys were given for room on 8th floor, both didn’t work. Then they moved us to sixth floor, again only one room key worked. Wanted to upgrade to club executive room... the hotel said it’d charge additional Singapore 200 dollar per night for upgrade. Totally horrible... will not stay at this hotel anymore.

Great location Very convenient location near stop for "hop on/hop off bus" walking distance to Bugis St, department stores and MTR

+ The buffet at a reasonal price with fresch seafood items - The fact that they constantly asked to revalidate my credit card every time I charged something to the room. It was as though they felt I couldn't afford to be there.

Room and room service ok. However, the reception is a critical part of the hotel for first impressions. My check in experience had to be the worst I've ever had in my 20 yrs of travels. If examples need to be given: 1. No welcome by 2 receptionists. I had to joke is this where is check in to be served after 30 seconds standing at the desk. 2. No name acknowledgment 3. No eye contact 4. No smile 5. No name tag 6. No offers to enjoy my stay and happy new year. 7. The appearance of the receptionist was a total mismatch for the position. Bottom line, will i come back? Sorry.

Pretty good hotel. Staff were fairly helpful.
