Hotel 81 Chinatown Singapore

181 New Bridge Road - 159418 Singapore

The Hotel81 - Chinatown , Singapore is part of the Hotel 81 chain operating eleven economical and no frills properties in Singapore. These are decent and clean hotels in a more local part of town. AC 02/04. Modern exterior with bright paint schemes of white and blue. The building fronts new Bridge Road, which demarcates Chinatown. Rooms are small, relative to hotel rooms in Singapore. As this is a no frills hotel, amenities and furnishing are basic. Basically clean bed(s) with a small cupboard but with coffee/tea and cable television facilites. However, cleanliness is assured. The attached bathrooms are equipped with standing shower only. The lobby is very small but a little comically done in Renaissance style. A single counter manned by friendly staff. Located in the main traffic junction of Upper Cross Street and New Bridge Road, the hotel is within walking distance to many places of interest like Chinatown, the Singapore River, the central business district and the civic district. Also do not miss the historical park of Fort Canning.

The rooms are miniscule ( ex short time place ) Better pay a bit more, or stay further out & have much bigger room.

Room too small, no chair, no clothes hangers and noisy during late night from other rooms nearby.

The best point of this hotel is its strategic location which is on the heart of chinatown. Other things are relatively average.

Room is extremely small for the price paid. Not worth the $. Can get a better one if add on a little bit more $
