Hotel 81 Bugis

Just basically average as what you can expect from a budget hotel. My room didn't get cleaned during the daytime despite me staying 2 nights, guess you have to let them know that you want the room to be cleaned as you go out during the day. Apart from that, the room is quite small and not much space to put your stuff. The shower is not separated from all other parts of the small bath/restroom so water splash all over things in the bath/restroom should be expected.

This is the kind hotel for people who just need a place to sleep and shower... and not much else. The rooms are clean and spartan, with all the basic amenities. The housekeeping service is prompt and they do a good job of keeping things tidy. Some guests are charged on an hourly basis (one indication that they're there for something else). Location is good, within walking distance of Bugis MRT station and Suntec City Mall. Abundant food outlets nearby.

I would recommend this hotel for value for money award. As a budget hotel this hotel sure offers cleanliness, adequate amenities, fantastic TV channels and plasma TV, great location, just 3 minutes walk to Bugis Junction and the price is not bad. Though the shower is a bit small. The reception from hotel staff is also ok.
