My family loved this newly refurbished hotel! Very clean and the staff were accomodating and friendly. My 5-year old son refused to leave the hotel to tour around Singapore! The buffet breakfast was superb with its varied selection of dishes. Sefinitely Furama was one of our favorite attractions in Singapoe! Cant wait to go back.

Furama City Center - currently undergoing construction I’ve stayed at the Furama City Center a number of times in Singapore. When I stayed there in early July 2008, they were doing relatively major construction on the lobby area - so a lot of loud construction noises - although all ceased fairly early in the evening. Hotel itself was fine, excepting the work in the lobby. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks When in Singapore - don’t bother eating at the Furama Hotel - a short walk across the street to People’s Park Plaza in Chinatown or over to Boat Quay is in order - street cafes in Singapore are all totally safe - food is authentic, cheaper and better. Also, alcohol is expensive in Singapore, so after you clear immigration at the airport, go through the duty free and stock up on your needs on arrival...

Furama located at a very convenient location. Just one minute walk to Chinatown MRT where you can go almost anywhere in Singapore and also close to small but convenient shops. It helped me a lot during my research at ISEAS.
