The reception was very helpful with giving directions, there are places to eat around the hotel which are open 24hrs a day. However location is in the red light district in Singapore, can be a plus or minus depending on the person. Other issue was the be

The hotel is good value for money but does not have any food outlets, not even breakfast facilities. The room was clean and very basic. It is situated right in the red light district and once you get out of the hotel and turn right you have literally hundred ladies of the horizontal trade plying their business.

For a hotel in Geylang, you don't expect much. I've stayed in 3 other Frangrance Hotels around the Geylang area, but I'd have to say PEARL is by far the cleanest and most presentable! I was very pleased with the room (suitable for overnighters) and the b

This hotel is right in the centre of the red light district. Not suitable for families staying with children. For the budget traveller, it is ok. Would not stay there again.

I arrived at 12.00pm thinking that I could check-in immediately. To my surprise, the staff told me the check-in time was 3.00pm. After telling them that I was very tired and needed some rest, they allowed me to check-in at 2.00pm. As this is a red light

This hotel has a very cheap price and is good for a low cost stay in Singapore. But bare in mind that the lower price means less convenience. The MRT is about 10 minutes walk away; and all you get is the room. Beware if you need to check in before 4pm, they will charge you for an extra night's stay. The surrounding streets fill up with literally hundreds of prostitutes at night, so it is not suitable for families. Also, they charge for things that would normally be included in the rate; such as towels.

+ Air conditioning, hairdryer etc were a plus. - When people mention that it is in the red like district, I don't think this is enforced enough!! Definately not recommended for families etc as it is in an unsuitable place!! Plus cockroaches in the room!
