Building and rooms are not properly upkeep. Cupboard are run down.Celiling shows signs of leakage. Suitable for budget travellers who don't mind these conditions.

This hotel has the perfect location in the centre of the city. The cleanliness is outrageously bad. The food is fabulous. The service is not so good.If you plan to stay for just one night, then this place is fantastic. If you are going with your family and looking for cleanliness and good service, i wouldn't advice you to go for this hotel.

Our hotel room was incredibly dirty, tired and run down. However the location is fantastic and the swimming pool was great.

A good value for money hotel. My only real complaint is the dinner menu is quite limited for Western tastes. Of the few choices available the food was well cooked and portions generous.

The hotel is pretty much very old. The facilities are also poorly maintained. Really not recommended if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay.

The condition of this hotel is so poor, I wonder why Asiarooms include it in their line-up. The hotel is so old, so poorly maintained; the walls are stained, the lift shakes a lot when moving, the floor is so dimly lit, it looks sleazy. The floors smell of turpentine. The room is so old, the wallpaper so old, it looks like some poor hotel out of a war zone. The bath-tub has yellow stains & the lights were not working. It is so poor that I immediately checked-out, even forfeiting me of 1-night from the 2-nights I've paid for it. I hope Asiarooms will take this hotel out of their line-up because I've taken rooms with them before at excellent service & conditions, but this one is really sub-par. I personally think that smaller motels might perform better in terms of hotel condition in Penang. Thank you.

For the price I wasn't expecting the highest standards and often polite, helpful and friendly can make up for less than perfect quality. Sadly not in this case as I suspect the staff are probably not being looked after by the senior management. Just passable as a base to enjoy the rest Penang has to offer.

The hotel looked a bit tired and the cost of rooms, even at last minute your website prices, was high for the quality of hotel.
