A great hotel for family vacation. A location that easily accessable via most public transport in the city. Excellent nightlife at nearby areas. A great view from the pool areas toward KL city.

Didn't check in till 10pm and first room I had wasn't ready..bed unmade, kitchen dirty. Didn't think front desk handled that well. They asked me to wait until they checked with housekeeping....at 10pm, I dont want to be kept waiting until someone verifies what i already see, i just want another room. It's a decent enough place but the staff were a little clueless at times.

We stayed at Ascott hotel by accident we hated the first hotel we went to (Capitol Hotel- which I will sent a separate review). We jsut walked in the hotel and luckily was accomodated to a nice executive studio. The receptionist girl (named Lyn) though having a hard time explaining eveything in english did a wonderful explaining all our inquiry. We even had her computer exchange rates and she willing did so. The room was spaceous. Very nice and clean but bathroom is not as modern as compared to the GRAND "le Meridien Hotel" which I recently tried as well. The room ahs its own small (but completely furnished and equipt)kitchen and comfortable sofa in the receiving room area and working desk Service was a bit slow. we ask for an adaptor and it us took 2 hours and two phone call requesting for it. Statffs are accomodating -one incident I called the hotel service asking for directions to one of KL's major attraction, I got more than the information I needed and even a tip where we can eat the best Satay. Attendants in the front of the hotel is wonderful. they not only helped out with hailing a cab for us they even gave us complete and reliable tips on our way to china town. Location is nice you can step out of the hotel and see the majestic Petronas tower in front of you. close to KL Sentral which you can use to got o the airport. but the hotel is a bit far from other attractions like shopping area(except for KLCDC which is next to Petronas) and other attractions. One thing that I hate about Ascott Hotel is their brekfast. Not selection at all. they only offer a few breads, cerials and pastries. fi you want meat and eggs you have to pay an outrageous 12RM for a separate order. It sucks!!!! service on that area is very poor. Ascott management should improve this. I would rate this 4 star and recomment it to others except for their breakfast."

Stayed here with husband and 2 teenage daughters 18/16yrs. Perfect location facing Petronas Towers, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the KLCC shopping mall. Two ensuite bedrooms were very spacious and well appointed with a huge lounge/dining area with 2 x double windows facing the towers made it a very relaxing and roomy accommodation for 4 people. Didn't use the kitchen facilities although these are more than adequate for cooking full meals. Breakfast by the pool on the roof terrace was very basic providing continental style food which was fine for us but not good if you expect a full buffet style breakfast. I would definitely recommend this to friends preferring something more than the usual corporate hotel accommodation usually available in cities.
