Western chains such as the Marriott are available as well as some individual local hotels. Mid-range hotels in Kuala Lumpur are less impressive though there are a few gems to be found. However, there is a wealth of budget accommodation. Most of the cheapest accommodation is found around the city centre and Chinatown.
