Keio plaza was the absolute best hotel we stayed in. It was in a great location - right near Shinjuku station and central to everything in the Shinjuku area. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel rooms were very large and decorated nicely and it had BBC and CNN in English on the television which was nice to be able to keep up with world news. Buffet breakfasts were great - there was a choice of several restaurant with a huge array of Japanese and Western foods. Great value for money - fantastic hotel - will definitely return!

Very good service. All hotel staff understood english and were very polite. I only had 1 piece of luggage yet there were 2 bell boys to accompany me to my room. One was to carry the luggage and the other was just there to introduce the room. And I did not have to pay tips for them. Subsequently I approached a bell boy for directions and he had maps to all the shopping locations in his pocket!

If you are looking for a quality hotel with English speaking staff and guest friendly facilities that is located in an excellent district of Tokyo, this is it. The businesses and shopping is convenient, you get a sense of the modern Japanese culture and technologies just a few steps out of the hotel. The transportation facilities are also convenient to the hotel, be it train, air, car, or walking. The hotel is located between the quiet side of Shinjuku district and the lively night scene areas but is very safe, clean and convenient. The breakfast buffet is also educational and superb as it provides Japanese cultural foods and Western breakfasts that are prepared expertly by the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants guaranteed quality and facilities where one can do business, relax and then enjoy sleep on unquestionably the best mattresses found in hotels.
